These are really good with metal bowls and tall plastic containers that work - the water comes out as it should without spilling and the hard cat food keeps coming out without jamming. So far, so good...Compact and low profile design , holds 3.5 liters. Minimal assembly (attached the floor grips). I like the stainless steel trays vs plastic.

The gravity feeder works great! The fact that you can fill it from the top without having to remove it, is fantastic. The water jug has issues. I have had it twice that the water dish has run dry despite the jug still having plenty of water in it. It appears that the flow valve that should allow water to flow when it runs low gets suctioned shut and prevents the bowl from refilling. ... show more

Yes, these earn 5 stars I had bought a similar setup by a different mfr, but returned them. Had this set for a couple of weeks and pleasantly surprised. I bought the small set as I have a small dog. Feeds the right amount of food into the stainless bowl. Water is maintained in the lower 1/4 to 1/3 of watering bowl. You can easily see the level in the reservoir bottle. Great product until it wasn't. Water dispenser just pours out when upside down now making it difficult to put the water tank back on since it has to be upside down. Not worth buying again.n
