The media could not be loaded. Very easy to install. My old auto door I've had for many years broke it was battery powered which was a hassle so I thought I would try a solar powered auto door this time. I did not need to cut a hole because there was already one there but boy I wish I had this paper that shows you how big to cut the hole! It even came with a sharpened pencil how cute. Anyway the door was super easy to install 4 screws and then you plug it in. Mine was already charged enough to set it up. The instructions for setup are on the actual door which is a HUGE plus. I couldn't remember how to reset my old one every time I had to change the batteries. I have it set to automatically open at sunrise and sunset and so far so good! That's the setting it's programmed with but you can also set a specific time for the door to open and close which is even better. The user manual was good except it didn't tell you how to manually open the door. So here is how. Push the power button in the center to wake it up then push the up button to open and the down button to close. It'll do it's own thing like the video shows. The cable for the solar panel is really long it reached to where I needed it to go and there was extra. That's super easy to install too only 3 screws and then you pop the solar panel on tighten it and it's ready to go. You guys gotta get it! No more running out in the early morning hours to let the hens out! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This product came in with nice packaging. Looks good, feels good quality. Comes with everything you need to set up and has an easy to understand user manual. It's the perfect size for my chickens . Lookong forward to using it in the coop!

While I have electricity connected to my large coop, I have a couple of smaller coops that I don't have access to electricity. I like that this is solar charged, which is perfect for the other coop.
