Product was charged as per instructions, dead after 2 days. Panel lights work but the door still will not open or close in manual or automatic mode. Leaves my flock exposed. This is the second one I've purchased. The first one lasted a year and now its replacement has failed.

The door is good overall, a nice design and install was not bad at all. It is ok if you don't mind having to open it yourself with the remote. The door worked a couple weeks opening automatically to the sun, however it stopped doing that and whether I set it to a time or set it to daylight, it would not open. I will say that when dark, the door closes without issuea and continues to do so. I tried everything and it still does not open automatically.

This product looked good out of the box, had reasonably good instructions on how to install and how to set up. This door worked great for about six months. Then the door stopped opening automatically. Strangely, it would still go down at night, but we would have to manually open it in the morning. I tried to contact the manufacturer by the email they provided but I got the infamous “mailer daemon” reply. When I looked up my past order on Amazon, it says that no information is available for that supplier. Unfortunate

Ducks are different from chickens. They can be trained to use a coop but don't need a coop as much as chickens do since Ducks can see in the dark, but chickens can not as well. With many predators and no pond, a coop is necessary for my ducks. This door is sturdy and predator proof as far as I can tell. I think it will keep the coop a little warmer than the previous wood ramp/door. In the morning, the ducks used to bang on the old door waiting for me to come and open it. No more banging since the door opens as soon as there is a little light outside. At night, I have more of a challenge since the door closes in the winter time much sooner than the ducks are ready to go inside. I have to go out and manually open the door, let the ducks in and then close the door. If I had chickens this would not be an issue. Ducks do not like change, so the first 2 days they were afraid of the door but they very quickly adjusted. If I could change one thing, it would be the remote. I was hoping it would work at a greater distance. But as it turns out, I don't need it anyway since the ducks are let out automatically in the morning and I have go out and check on them regardless in the evening.

I really liked the idea of the door rolling up rather than just sticking up in the air to get broken, this one is VERY unreliable!!! We still have to go out twice a day to check to see if it did what it supposed do.. I could just as well be letting them out in the morning, and shutting them back in at night like I did before spending spending 79 bucks for something that does not work as it should!! Sometimes it will open. Sometimes only open half way..and most of the time, NOT AT ALL! 😡 unless… I push the button several times, because it will only open tiny bits at a time, and that’s even more frustrating when it’s cold out or your in a hurry. Then when it gets about to the top it will go the rest of the way on its own, the way it is supposed to.. I’m thinking about un installing it and sending it back to see if we just got a bad one, in fact that’s what I am going to do come Monday and fingers crossed the next one works better than this one!!! ☝️

This automatic door seems well built, however I've had to manually open it several times after the sun has came up. It only opens a couple of inches not allowing the chickens to get out. This has happened several times in the month that I have been using this door.

This chicken coop door works great, exactly what we needed. We actually had a different one and it stopped working, so we ordered this and it’s so much better! It’s sturdy, and easy to use with solar and remote. Also we bought at discount so it was great. We are very happy with this item and recommended to anyone who have chicken and want to have them in a safe house while sleeping at night
