Set it and forget it
I bought this for my father in law who recently decided to have a set of chickens in his backyard. I think that it is turned out to be a bit more complicated than he expected so I decided to find of gadgets to help streamline the process. I thought the idea of an automatic coop door sounded like a brilliant idea. It was super easy to install and seems very sturdy. The best part about this is that after the initial set up, you don't need to do anything else to it. It has a light sensor so it knows when it's sunrise and automatically opens. It is completely solar powered so you don't have to worry about being near an outlet or recharging it. It automatically charges itself during the day. ... show more

Satisfy.
The automation features are excellent. The door opens and closes at preset times, providing a safe and secure environment for my girls. I no longer have to worry about getting home on time in the morning to release my girls or closing the door at night, everything is done automatically.

Functionality
the chicken coop door operates as intended. I do wish that it was a bit bigger, though. The auto reverse feature is a plus if it tries to close with a chicken in the way. The app connecting via bluetooth is nice as it allows you to connect to the door and configure quickly.
