There are so many options now for self-cleaning litterboxes - this one is great! We have one very picky 8 year old cat and she's very slow to accept changes to her routine. She previously had a rectangular, covered plastic box but we wanted to scoop and clean less. The Hazrela automatic litter box has been just what we hoped. It was easy to assemble, the app is easy to use and I love that we can monitor her weight through it. I left it unplugged for her to explore for a few days and then set it to manually clean when I told it to so I could start the cleaning process when she wasn't close by so it wouldn't scare her. We now have it set to automatically clean after a delay of 5 minutes after she exits the box. We use it with Catalyst pine litter and it works great. Overall there is so much less smell in the house. I have completely taken it apart to clean it a few times now and it's simple to do. I feel like this has been a great purchase in terms of value for cost - it saves so much time. I've had to move it a couple times, it's very sturdy and feels well-built. It's not flimsy. It's large but extra-large cats might find it a bit small but it works for our 13 lb. cat. I recently purchased this self-cleaning litter box, and it has made a huge difference in keeping my home cleaner and fresher. There is no other for the price I got this one for. The value for the price is mind-blowing! It’s perfect in size and fits perfectly where my original cat litter box was. The automatic cleaning feature works really well and saves so much time compared to scooping every day. It’s quiet, the durability is great, easy to set up, and helps reduce odors a lot. My cats adjusted to it quickly and seems very comfortable using it. I also like that the waste compartment is easy to empty and doesn’t make a mess. The affordable automatic cat box. Home run!!! We have 8 rescues and I really wanted that immediate cleaner in the overall litter box maintenance. I've had others when they first came out years ago and was skeptical. Got 1 to test out. Oh wow this is awesome!!! I did get a 2nd for the opposite side of the house. Best investment in my cats' litter box health. *Easy to put together on arrival *I had to get accustomed to the amount of litter as not to waste when it cleaned. Not a problem *I've got o e large fur baby that does test the high limits, 18#, of the weight parameters. It will occasionally fall out of sync. It's probably the most negative about this box. It's not a big deal. Follow the instructions, obviously not just a me problemon, and it's back on track. It's light weight and easy to adjust *odor control great *it's got the bags like a little garbage can. Easy to remove and replace *It is somewhat bulky but in the rooms they are in nobody notices them until they activate!!! *All of my cats took to the open design within hours. *It weighs the cats and displays the time they spent in the box. This is a fantastic tool to monitor them individually for any possible health issues rising!!! *it require a litter mat or ramp for the tacky feet. Our elder gang appreciated the ramps especially with the height of the entrance Overall, I would recommend this to any cat family.
