My only dislike with these boots (and the reason I ultimately returned them) was they were just a little too clunky chunky and “badass” for the style I was going for (my sister said I looked like I was ready to “kick in some doors” when I sent her a pic!). That and the fact that I learned they are not able to be re-soled or re-heeled. But as I expected from Thursday Boot Co., these boots are gorgeous, extremely well made, true to size, and were extremely comfortable right out of the box (unlike the Red Wings I ended up with instead). 🤣 Important to note that Thursday Boot Co. does offer re-soleable shoes- but the Coda style is not. If you’re looking for something a little more bad-ass- then this is the boot for you!

These are REAL leather and they’re gorgeous. The size is really snug so I wish I had done a half size up but I will try to keep breaking them in.

The books I usually buy have been discontinued so I tried these. They are nice looking. But I have worn them many times now and they are still uncomfortable. I will give them a little longer, but for the price I had believed that they would be better quality. The company noted my review and sent me a request for multiple pictures to prove my points. I feel this was a ploy to do nothing about my complaint, making fixing the problem a huge, cumbersome task. When I replied exactly that, I never heard back. I am lowering my rating to two stars and would advise that you stay away from this boot and this company.

I usually buy pretty cheap boots but decided to splurge a bit this time, and I’m glad I did! I can tell these boots are much higher quality than I’m used to, and I’m sure they will hold up longer than my other boots. They fit perfectly. They felt pretty stiff at first, but after wearing them a few times they started to break in and now they are much more comfortable. The other day I went for a 1.5 mile walk in them with no issues. And the best part, I feel very cool every time I wear them.

The leather of these boots is equisite! It smells so good and feels well made. I ordered my regular size and they are at least a full size too small. I had to squeeze my foot in to try them on and I knew I'd need to return them. If you order, I'd say get at lease one size if not more larger than what you typically wear.
