Product shipped fast. I pulled the auxiliary battery completely and put heat shrink over the cable ends to decommission them. Next I jumped the N1 and N2 terminals on the power distribution box with a 30 amp in line fuse. The plug for the harness was above the obd II connector in which you install your new harness in between the factory harness and the module. There was a video the company did show the location of the module. This was a safe and correct way to fully delete the start/ stop option

This actually worked exactly as described. The port to plug it into was much higher up in the dashboard than the instructions indicated. I had to become a contortionist to reach it, but once I got it plugged in, it worked perfectly.

It works! I actually hated always having to remember to push the auto stop button to cancel it EVERY time I start my jeep. When I pulled the module out, it came in a simple plastic bag with no instructions. Despite that, installation went smoothly after referencing the Amazon product photos—turns out it’s intuitive to plug in and works as advertised. Ease of Installation Slipped it between the harness and switch, and it installs cleanly. No tools required, and if your car model matches, this kind of plug-and-play mod should take seconds—not minutes. Performance in Action After starting the car, the module disables the auto start/stop feature about a second afterward. It does exactly what it claims, and so far (after a day of testing), there’s been no hiccup or flicker. Compared to Other Auto Start/Stop Disablers No tools or coding required, unlike more invasive modules that require wiring or app configuration. Less hassle than software toggles, which may reset every drive. This stays inert unless you remove it. Works great without need for a Tazer unit that cost more. Though no instructions on where and how to install. Here is how to install. Remove panel under steering wheel by pulling from bottom edge near each corner of the panel and lift away. Slide driver's seat fully back as to give clearance to reach up into the dash structure, partially angle into foot well, as to gain easier access. Use a long skinny hobby flat blade driver to push the tab of the smaller connector on the gateway to release to remove the connector. Search online about gateway plugs and access, if you have no clue. Install the module to the gateway. Only one side will fit and should look like the connector you pulled. Install the connector you pulled into the module's other connector. Tuck the module, as you fit the planel back into place. Now the module will keep start stop feature as a manual setting of your choice. Once disabled by the switch it will stay disabled until you manually activate it.
