Installed on my 2015 Jeep Wranger. Instructions were simple and straightforward. The product could be improved if black bolts were included, rather than the stainless steel hardware. 8 additional washers would have been helpful as well. The product was packaged well and arrived undamaged. There are 4 bolts that mount into holes under the jeep on the frame. The holes line right up, but on my jeep-after being empty for 10 years the holes were difficult to get the bolts into, so plan on spraying something to make it easier. So a 30 minute job probably took me 2 hours (getting the bolts in and finding some extra washers). ... show more

Installed these a little less than a year ago. They recently started to fall apart. Paint is chipping off on each side and weld is broken in all the places it is welded. Supposed to withstand 500 lbs. but have rarely stepped on these since I am able to get in Jeep without using step bars. Have contacted Amazon twice who has supposedly contacted the seller, with no response. These are definitely a piece of junk. If seller will make this right. I will change my review about them, but not the running boards. Do not want them replaced but would like to get a refund. I would give them a minus 5 stars if I could. ... show more

This is a great product for the money. I put the boards on my Jeep and realized on the last bracket that I had 3 for one side and only one for the other. I contacted the company and asked them to send them correct bracket and they refused. They advised I could return to complete product or they would give a $30 refund. Even though I live the product, I do not recommend simply because the customer service is a joke! ... show more

    • Rusts quickly

So normally, I would use truck bed paint on these parts before I used installed them. This is a trick I learned after I got these. So I've had these about a year and a half and I noticed some chips with rust spots so I pulled them off to get ahead of any problems. Once I pulled them I found a lot more problems, but nothing that couldn't be fixed. When I pulled the plastic end caps off I found that the whole inside was rusted. It's not treated in any way. It's just bare metal. And since the end caps aren't sealed, (just push in end caps.) it's rusted. ... show more
