3 out of the 4 units worked as described. Great value, different brightness levels, constant on or off function, and (auto) motion sensor function works. However, 1 unit with about 2.5 weeks of use, on auto (motion sensor) mode would repeatedly turn on a minute, shut off for a second, turn back on again for a minute, shut off for a second, over and over. It's on and off function work but it won't stop repeating this cycle in the dark. I wiped the front of it, and plugged this malfunctioning unit where the other 3 normal functioning units work correctly. The same unit still has the problem while the other 3 work perfectly.

We walk into the room from the side so it doesn’t turn on until you’re right in front. May work better at the top of a stair or at the end of a hallway where you’re approaching it from the front. Seems the sensor is direct field-of-view rather than a wide angle. I took off a star because you need to be directly in front of the sensor for it to turn on. However, it may work great in another area.

I gotta say, this Motion Sensor Night Light is pretty awesome. I put it in my bathroom, hallway, and stairs and it's made a big difference in my home. The motion-activated feature is the best part.
