I have only used this on natural hair but I am sure the same goes for protective styles that use weave/ braiding hair. With the biotin and honey within the product, your hair will grow and be moisturized while doing so. For what is within this product and the quality of the gel the price is worth it. This is a great product. This product is priced at a reasonable price. The consistency is nice , it’s not sticky or heavy. I have curly hair and it holds greatly. It also moisturizes my hair and doesn’t turn hard or fluffy.

Great for using as an edge control or as a substitute for hair gel. It leave no residue even after a few days and its not heavy at all on your hair. It also doesn't flake. I can get hold for several days before I have to reapply.
