Easy to read instructions, a total of 12 pages, when was the last time you got some electronic item, and it came with a booklet that thin? It is lighter than the old ones and only has 1 part inside to switch. Go to U-tube to find out what it is. I find that all I need is the factory program to get what I want, but you can download from their website straight into your CB. The mic is cool, the up and down buttons can work most of the radio, how's that! The best thing you can do is read the manual first! Power is a little lower than advertised. Other than that the radio is fantastic. Easy to get on eleven meter. Doesn't look flashy but has some great features. Have it in my truck connected to a 108 inch whip and on ssb this thing gets out with good reports. Even in FM mode I've gotten across the pond. AM seems a little quiet on receive but gets the job done. My guess is this is mostly for ssb use. ... show more

I wrote a negative review earlier because I though the audio had gone bad. come to find out it was one of the settings that got changed,. The instruction manual is a bit lacking so be patient using the menu portion in this radio. Once I found the problem the audio came back. This radio blows my Uniden Bearcat 980 away and that's a good radio. I ordered a frequency counter for it so I know exactly what frequency I'm on without using the mic to read the numbers. This radio has a lot of flexibility to it and it will take a little time to adjust to it. You can't beat the price for what you get. ... show more

Classic styling, good output, and an insane amount of options! If the power matched my Q6 (Anytone AT-6666) I’d be even happier. With the newest updates YES this radio will display your frequency, and has the ability to split channels! Mine came out of the box, I converted it, and got to setting it up. Get a cable to connect to your PC, and you can even program in your local 2 meter frequency to monitor! Great audio and receive, definitely the best bang for the buck when it comes to a AM/FM/SSB radio ... show more

The one I purchased no matter what I do can't get the swr to match up with any antenna it's just a expensive shelf ornament and I bought 2 of them and I gave one to my nephew thinking they were good

I've been CB,ing since the mid 1970's and this radio is one of the very best radios I've owned. Simple to convert to 11 meters and easy to operate. I get awesome audio and signal reports like I've never had on other radios. It has ALL of the bells and whistles like Reverb, echo, talk back, variable power, and awesomw noise rejection plus you can order a cable and set up your radio with a few simple clicks.     • It's a physically big radio, doesn't fit in the space provided in most trucks.
It's a physically big radio, takes up a lot of space in my truck and doesn't work any better than a more compact radio which I eventually went to.
