I haven't installed this attic fan thermostat yet as it's the dead of winter, but just making sure I have everything ready to go once the project is a go! The thermostat feels very durable. It's made of sturdy metal and has some heft to it. It very functional with 1 3-prong outlet and makes wiring up easy with the included quick connectors. The 3 prong cord is a nice thick gauge and labeled with all of the proper UL and safety icons. It's pretty much ready to use right out the box and with the built in thermostat, you can pretty much have your attic fan up and running within minutes!

This is an extreamly simple thermostat control for your attic fan. Living in the south during the summers your attic can become unbearable. This thermostat allows you to set the desired temperature and your fan will come on. This is perfect to keep the air circulating and cool down your attic by venting out the hot air. This is offered at an incredible price. It is easy to install. The housing means that it can be easily attached to a rafter. Very durable. To attach your fan you can simply plug it into the thermostat or hard wire it. So if you are not very handy with wiring you can still use this. Definitely makes a difference in not only how the attic feels but smells. No musty or stuffy feeling. Works as it should to turn on when the temperature rises above its set degree. Easy to set the thermostat it is a knob that you turn. Easy to read.

I currently have a thermostat hooked to my attic fan, so I'll either replace my old one from the early 90's or, more probable, I'll use it in the new greenhouse. I like the metal housing, mounting ability, the dual fan compatibility which is a plus for me, easy to read facing with temperature dial, and a generous length of cord. The media could not be loaded. There are a lot of thermostatic switches like this one, but what's different here is that you can connect to the fan or other unit in one of two ways: either just plug in or wire it into the connector. Check out my video to see the switch and get a sense for how it is designed. There is no 'modern' or digital design here ... it's' very analog. You just twist the thermostat dial to the desired on/off temp and that's it. Very very simple. And these switches have been used in barns and attics for decades. The brand is Nuovepe and I can't tell you anything about them. Just a solid basic switch that it plug and play.
