I wanted something to give an extra layer for walking the dogs during the few cold months in the southeast US. This fit the job well. PROS - Lightweight outer layer - warmth from layering moreso than itse;f as it is not a heavy shirt jacket - Very roomy - it definitely runs large, which is perfect for throwing on quickly over a couple of other layerrs (I wear mine over t-shirt and sweat-jacket) - Very well made for the money - Buttons are standard quality, but the stitching around them seems very well done. It will take a while to tear one off. CONS - I am really not a huge fan of buttons, but I will be leaving it open most of the time so it's passable. - Patterns is a little too busy, but it's fine. - While the roomy nature is fine for layering, the sleeves on the Large are probably around 35-36 inches in shirt size. That's a bit much for a large. More like a Tall size. Works for keeping hands warm without gloves though. - The length of the jacket is about right, but the pockets for your hands are down at the bottom, which puts them right at my waistline. Should be a bit higher. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. If I had tried it on in store, I might have gone with a medium. I was worried as an outer layer that I should buy a large (which I normally wear but can go medium). In this case, they definitely built some room into it, so do not upsize! ... show more

I can't say this item is perfect, but I will say that I very much enjoy wearing it. I think it's quite stylish and suitable for chillier autumn or spring weathers when you don't quite need a coat yet. Some threads have not held up the best, but overall this thing has been durable and works just fine for me. The hood strings are a bit too long for my taste and often get thrown out of place, behind the hood or over my shoulder. The sleeves are also a bit too long, but I am short and wide and I have to choose a larger size, so take that with a grain of salt. The fabric is definitely soft, not the softest in the world but pleasant to the touch. I didn't notice any significant odor, but I did wash it before I wore it, which I would recommend anybody to do regardless of situation. One gripe I do have is that it is SUPER easy for things to fall out of the pockets. I regularly have my earbud case or keys go flying out when I am trying to adjust the jacket and get it over my shoulders. Regardless, if you're looking for a jacket that is passably 'good enough' and will hold up just fine to regular use, I would definitely recommend this one. ... show more

Solid stitched seams, durable fabric with a 5 year guarantee warranty at full replacement (you must return the torn product) or your money back, if no longer carrying the style. So hang onto your receipts!!! Well worth your money! The pockets are deep with a lip so your phone, keys, or wallet doesn't slip out. Generously threaded buttons so you don't lose one. An extra seam on the hood to fit your head with comfort. The jacket is a stiff button down. Nimble fingers will not be able to work the tight fitted buttons into the holes. No gaps between fabric, once fully buttoned. And the wormth- on spot!
