I’ve been overall really impressed with this product. I like to think of myself as a meticulous and tech-savvy person. I really researched a lot of the options and I chose the ATOTO P8 for a few reasons. First, auto-dimming light sensor: I wanted something that would adjust it’s brightness automatically based on the ambient lighting and the P8 does it well. Next, I wanted include front and rear cameras. The P8 package I purchased came with both, and I am impressed with the build and quality of the cameras. Next, I wanted something with a remote, and this included a remote that I think is clever. It is magnetic and can either mount to an included steering wheel strap, or an included base that can be stuck to the dash. Lastly, I did not want to use only sticky suction to mount the unit to my dash, and I liked that the P8 comes with a plastic mounting base that can be stuck on with adhesive. This made it possible to easily measure and center the perfect mounting location and adhere the base first. Also the suction of the mounting arm is on the base and not directly on my dash. My dash is kind of soft and suction devices leave a long lasting dimple in the dash, so the base protects that from happening. Even the adhesive on the dash cam, remote mounting plate and unit mounting base is 3M adhesive, which I trust the quality and strength of the hold as long as cleaned properly, and an alcohol pad for cleaning, was even included. The only thing that I was slightly skeptical about before purchasing was that Apple CarPlay could only work wirelessly. Personally, I like to wire things in when it is convenient but I have been impressed with how well the wireless CarPlay has been working for me. The power socket also seems to be really nice quality, however, as soon as they release the optional hardwired power supply, I plan to switch to that to have a completely hidden install. The manual is also very well written and it is how I found out that they are going to be coming out with an optional hardwired power supply. I’ve contacted support several times with small questions and they have responded within 24 hours every time, and have been friendly and helpful. With the experience on this product, I wouldn’t hesitate to purchase more ATOTO products in the future, because I can tell that a lot of thought, goes into the design and included accessories with the product. ... show more

This display is the best choice on the market as the quality and features are excellent for the price. I was comparing it with analogs before buying, and this one wins with it's features, such as: 1. Rear view and front cameras, which are filming 1920x1080 at 60FPS 2 .Remote control for steering wheel(this one is my absolute favorite) 3 . Single cable and all the necessary things for clean installation 4 . Auto display brightness adjustment 5. Custom boot logo selection 6. Really good display quality with anti glare film 7. FM/AUX output They've also added Bluetooth output option in latest OS update, and also screen mirroring option for both Android and iOS. OS updates are very easy to install, just need to open update link on your phone and everything will happen automatically. Great alternative to installing an in dash unit. You may think in dash is easy. It isn’t always easy. This works super well but here are some things no one talks about in the reviews: 1. Backup camera. Good luck. You do need to take some of the car apart and find the brake wire and splice in. This may not be for you. I haven’t installed that yet. I want to but it’s no small job if you’re like me and not into wiring and afraid of not being able to put the car back together. 2. AUX input is beat to use but you cannot talk on the speaker this way because the audio goes through the audio port and this is OUT only so it cannot SEND you talking out to the other person. 3. There is no mirroring for video. CarPlay has limits for safety. The manual has a scan for a coming soon page. That doesn’t do anything. Not a feature. May never be. 4. To change the logo at startup to your own car go to the settings and change the date to 2008-01-08 01:08 24H then back to display settings then you’ll see boot logo settings and can change it to your car brand (or any brand)… reset the clock and you’re done! ... show more

I really love the atoto. I use it for android auto and I can truly say I have no issues at all, from connectivity to ease of use. The only thing I wish it had is a external mic that can be plugged in.

Easy install and everything works as advertised. The onboard speakers are weak and FM is never ever going to be good Fortunately, our now near ancient Odyssey does have a aux input (in the back seat) and the sound is fine. The mount sticks surprisingly well to the lass than smooth or flat dash. Time will tell if it will fall off , but after a couple of weeks it's solid. Both android auto and care play work well bboth wired and wireless though thee is a 30sec to 1 min delay for the wireless version to connect, not a biggie IMHO. The steering wheel control is surprisingly useful and well designed. For anyone who wants a modern in car entertainment system in an older car and doesn't want to disassemble the dash which may be fragile after years of service and purchase the required trim and connection kits you may have to buy not to mention that the placement of the screen may not be ideal? Purchase this to use in my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee and my 2005 Hurricane Motorhome. Installation was very straightforward and easy. Took about 30 minutes to install and setup. Primarily wanted it to be able to use Android Auto features. Forward dashcam will be great in my motorhome. I utilized the aux cord to get sound through the car speakers. The steering wheel controls work great ... show more
