I bought the 3-6x. I haven’t had any trouble with it in the 3 weeks I’ve used it. Due to how outrageous the helmet mount attachment was for this, I would not buy it again but I would buy the standard hand held models they make. The rechargeable battery works great with this monocular. I’m not an expert in other thermal monocular brands but I find this monocular to be well made and I enjoy using it I’m deducting a star for the outrageous helmet mount and I almost feel like deducting two stars over it 9/6/24 I’ve now had this for 2 years. I bought the rechargeable battery for it. The monocular works like it did when I bought it and the rechargeable battery holds a charge like it did when I bought it. ... show more

Used this for recon and SAR,and was not impressed for the price tag. It barely picks up heat signatures past 50m,and battery life is about 2 hours,tops. It also did not come with a head or helmet mount,which was very disappointing.
