    • Seems to work just fine. a bit pricy compared to the alternatives.
It's a microphone from asus with pretty lights on it that can sync to their software (Aura Sync). There is no software or anything that goes with it otherwise. just plug it in and go. it's got a spare USB port on the right side to sort of replace the one you used, a standard (3.5mm) headphone and an AUX in on the front (you can say hook your phone into it and play something to your audience with that port.) , a switch that changes it from the single, stereo, and Noise cancelling modes, the button to switch the lights off & on, dials for volume and i believe the other is for volume if you use the headphone port on it, and the mute button. My experience with it so far. At the time of this writing i've had it about 8 months and had basically zero issues with it. i decided to get this thing after my last headset's microphone decided to slowly just stop working on me. typically on headsets the thing that dies on me is always the microphone, the speakers usually last an eternity never had that part die on me its always the mic. i thought i'd try something else, and somehow got lead to this thing. after receiving it i got it all hooked up and in place, bounced on discord into a chat room with my buddies and the first thing they said after the usual greeting was "jeez you sound a lot clearer than usual". maybe that means something, maybe it doesn't, but according to the other side my voice is clear and crisp even when i lean back in my chair and/or talk in a low voice (about 3ft away from it at max, 1ft away give or take at a minimum) however it doesn't pick up the air conditioner in the background or other various static noises throughout the house. So basically my only minor complaints is this. i kinda wish the "cool" Lights were on the front instead of the rear. i also kinda wished for some kind of software that gives greater control over the thing. Past that i have really enjoyed the time with it, i'm nobody really special, not a streamer or content creator or anything like that. just a normal dude that plays games and usually with friends. At this price point there alot of cheaper alternatives. why did i buy it? i really dont know for sure maybe its just because it had "Asus" on it considering i have one of their phones (zenfone 5z) that works great and used their computer motherboards and graphics cards for years without issues. maybe it was the name that sold me on it. if there are any questions feel free to leave a comment. Update 11/28/2020: Nearly 2 years with it seeing somewhat daily use. no issues no problems still. Have now used it with 2 different desktops and my laptop when i travel, no issues there either. On another note instead of using the noise cancelling mode on it i've since started using NVIDIA Broadcast (the free thing NVIDIA came out with that utilizes your RTX GPU to do automatic noise cancelling and other neat stuff, if you have been living under a rock. ) with it and it works perfectly with this Mic. No more annoying stuff in the background, just my crystal clear unholy voice. ... show more
