Frequently asked questions

A 'Renewed' 2022 Apple iPad Pro 12.9-inch means the product has been inspected, tested, and restored to its original condition by either the manufacturer or a third-party refurbishment vendor. It should work like new, though it may not come in its original packaging and might have minor cosmetic imperfections. It comes with a limited warranty.

For most users, 256GB of storage on the 2022 iPad Pro 12.9-inch should be sufficient for daily tasks such as browsing the web, streaming videos, and using apps. If you plan to store a lot of large files like 4K videos, professional-grade photos, or have an extensive library of apps and games, you might need to consider higher storage options or using cloud storage services.

Absolutely. The 2022 iPad Pro 12.9-inch is equipped with Apple's powerful M1 chip, making it capable of handling professional creative tasks such as video editing, 3D design, and digital art. Its large Liquid Retina display with ProMotion, True Tone, and P3 wide color gamut support also ensures high-quality visuals. Additionally, compatibility with the Apple Pencil (sold separately) provides precision for artists and designers.

No, the Wi-Fi version of the 2022 iPad Pro 12.9-inch does not support cellular connectivity. It can only connect to the internet through Wi-Fi networks. If you need internet access on the go, you might want to consider the Wi-Fi + Cellular model of the iPad Pro, or use a mobile hotspot from your smartphone.

🚀 Abunda's Overview

This is our summary and key points to consider based on customer reviews.

The reviews highlight the iPad Pro as a robust and versatile device, appreciated for its compatibility with accessories like the Logitech Combo Touch keyboard. Users have praised its ease of setup, seamless integration with peripherals, and superior performance for creative tasks. Though opinions are mostly positive, a few have encountered minor issues with refurbished models, such as the condition on arrival and accessory malfunctions, underscoring the importance of quality checks for pre-owned devices.

Pros

  • 👍 Easy setup and compatibility with Logitech keyboards, enhancing the user experience.
  • 👍 Great performance for creative workflows, supported by features like nearly flat screen positioning for drawing.
  • 👍 Positive experiences with refurbished models, offering a more affordable option with slight imperfections being the only downside for some.
  • 👍 Outstanding battery life and sufficient memory for various tasks and applications.

Cons

  • 👎 Some refurbished items came with minor cosmetic damage and less-than-ideal packaging.
  • 👎 Issues with included accessories, such as non-functioning chargers, affecting the initial setup and use.

Should I Buy It?

Given the overwhelmingly positive feedback, especially regarding ease of use, performance for creative tasks, and the successful integration with accessories like Logitech keyboards, the iPad Pro is a commendable purchase. For those seeking value, refurbished models present a viable option, though it's advisable to prepare for potential minor setbacks. If these minor cons do not deter you, the iPad Pro appears to be a highly recommended choice.

  • Arrived in excellent condition & working order
Style: WiFi Size: 256GB Color: Silver
Note: this review is made only after having the iPad for 24 hrs; will give update if issues arise in the upcoming months. I have never bought a refurbished electronic device before and was weary of some potential issues. However, I have experienced none so far. I ordered: iPad Pro 6th gen 12.9” 256GB Model # A2436 Silver wi-fi only - product arrived promptly (in fact, one day early. iPad was delivered via FedEx - expect to sign for delivery) - product matches listing description (correct model, size, color & gen iPad) - product was listed to be in excellent condition & was found to be true upon inspection (no dents, scratches, cracks, etc. externally - see photos) - powered on without problem & had battery charge - was able to complete set up & log into my Apple account without issue (note: I specifically bought wi-fi only model & some people have had issues with wi-fi/cellular models) - third party charging block & cord included. Be advised that using third party charging block and/or cord may not be sufficient to charge newer iPads. I used the charger provided and after charging over 3 hrs power increased only 45%. I am not deducting stars since this review is for the iPad itself & the charger being included is more of a courtesy. This was definitely the best price for this particular iPad being only one gen behind the most current iPad. As long as there is no performance or hardware issues in the upcoming months, this is an excellent purchase & I am very happy with it. ... show more

  • Refurbished Excellent iPad Pro looks brand new, it was a good deal.
Style: WiFi + Cellular Size: 1T Color: Space Gray
I bought this iPad from Tech Exchange, it’s in Excellent condition and I received it the next day. I had bought another one from them and it had a dent in the corner by the screen, went through the Amazon Return process and received a refund the day they received it. It might take an order or two to get a good one but the return guarantee works. For a third the price I have an M2 IPad Pro (current is M4, no M3 was made) that should get three or four years of iPadOS releases, as an Apple product I think it will last that long. Also for the Cellular end, in Settings/General/About, I used the IMEI number and on the internet I used an IMEI lookup option to check the status of my iPad, it was unlocked. Don’t plan to use cellular but it’s nice to know that no service provider has a lock on it from the previous owner. ... show more

  • Great value and trust-worthy Seller
Style: WiFi + Cellular Size: 256 GB Color: Space Gray
I was pleasantly surprised when I calculated the "battery health", it turned out to be 90%. I think this is great for a refurbished iPad. I was initially skeptical about buying refurbished unit on Amazon, but price was definitely cheaper than Apple Refurbished store and I now truly believe that I got a nice unit for a great price. I would buy again from this seller in the future. ... show more

  • Dead on Arrival. Very disappointing.
Style: WiFi Size: 256 GB Color: Space Gray
Refurbished Ipad Pro was supposed to be in "Excellent Condition". Upon arrival, it did not start up. Attempts to charge it using multiple wall chargers and cables that successfully charged other devices had no effect. Neither did leaving it charging overnight or forced restart attempts. Of note, although I purchased it on a "sold and shipped by Amazon" page, the confirmation email stated the seller had been changed. Packaging was minimal generic cardboard with no padding. Short cable included but no charger. Very disappointing. Amazon did promptly approve the return and refund the purchase price. ... show more

  • IPad Pro 12.9 using the Logitech Combo Touch, a great Combination and sooooo easy!
Style: WiFi Size: 256 GB Color: Space Gray
The media could not be loaded. Sure, you can probably do anything computer related at 20 or 50 years of age, but for a lady at 79, it may be more of a challenge. I bought a keyboard and case for my new iPad Pro 12.9 and I hated the keys, the connecting stuff and even more, the way the keyboard slipped away from the IPad each time I typed on it. When my husband complained about the same thing I returned the keyboard. Then I called Apple and spent on hour on the IPad talking with their rep about the best keyboard for the money I was willing to spend. Did you know that Apple sells Logitech keyboards for those customers that are “broke” after spending a bundle on the IPad Pro itself? :) Well, if Apple sells Logitech keyboards then they must work really well with the Apple IPad. The representative suggested the Logitech Combo for my needs. So I hopped over to Amazon, on my IPad of course, found the Logitech Combo there for a good amount less than Apple… sorry Apple, and in 2 days I was back in business with a wonderful IPad Pro 12.9 cover and keyboard, made by Logitech. As you can see in my video above, (the last picture,) it takes literally a second to connect and there is no fussing with programs or steps on how to make the keyboard compatible. I did not have to do ANYTHING in order to combine the two technologies or software. Nothing!!! I had spent about an hour setting up the other keyboard once it was connected. I had to call the company and even then it was a struggle before it connected program-wise to everything properly. With the Logitech Combo, I pushed the IPad into the cover, touched the bottom of the cover to the Logitech Combo keyboard and POOF! I was connected. One second to connect and that was it! No calls to Apple or Logitech. No mumbling under my breath. No time spending hours making sure all systems were a go as I had to with the other company’s keyboard and cover. I know I am repeating this but, with the Logitech set I had to do NOTHING ELSE AT ALL! I got the “cloth” looking covered combo. It’s a beige gray color and it’s plastic, so I can wipe it if it ever shows dirt. I am an artist and cartoonist so I use the iPad for a lot of creativity. Being able to lay the screen almost flat makes it easier to draw if I want to keep it attached to the keyboard. That was really important to me. I use an Apple Pencil and it works perfectly with the Logitech keyboard and stays put, with magnetics, to the Logitech cover. I was dreading the ordeal of making sure the combination worked together, as it took so long, and was so darn complicated, with the other company’s product. It shocked me to see how quick and easy the connection was, using the Logitech and Apple technology. It might sound like I am a saleswoman for the two companies. Nope. Just so satisfied that I had to share what I learned! It is not a cheap combo. But it isn’t the most expensive either, and when you have two products that work perfectly together it’s a good marriage. ... show more
