  • This spring seems to work, though it might be a little thinner gauge than you are looking for.
I was hoping to find a spring that was closer to the one that broke in my coffee table. I looked all over the place online. I even had a couple ordered from another website, but they called me later saying they were out of stock and refunded my money. I wound up on here and got a couple of these. The ones that came were not the same length nor diameter as the one I needed to replace. Nor was the wire as thick of gauge. I decided to give it a try since it was so hard to find any. So far, it is working in my coffee table, though I don't have high hopes of it lasting a long time. The springs they sent match the pictures on the website in terms of color and such, but I thought they'd be a little longer and especially thought that the gauge of the wire would be thicker. One good difference between the new ones and the original, is that the new ones have a red dampener of some sort inside the spring that will hopefully keep the spring from making noise as it is stretched. It does so far, anyway. Only one of the original springs has broken so far, so I've only installed one of the new springs and am keeping the other one handy in case the other original, or the installed new one, breaks. We'll see which one breaks first. :) In the photos, the darker spring is the original that came with the coffee table. The table's top lifts up so that it is lap height. The springs keep the table from falling with a crash when you lower the top back down. ... show more

  • replacement springs for our flex steel recliner
Flexsteel is supposed to be a good brand of furniture, but the original springs broke only after a yr. waited til we saw Amazon selling them to replace them. so far, so good, but had a lot more use out of our older lady boy recliners for the 18yrs we had them. Our Flexsteel are about 7 yr old and springs broke the first yr, and the cushioning on the seat is already showing signs of dipping from the material under the covering matting down. starting to feel the steel frame under the seat. ... show more

  • Best price by my search. Much more affordable than a professional repair!
I broke a spring in my "King of Siam" sized recliner after 15 years of hard use. I spared no expense when I bought the chair, why not buy the best parts available to keep it in shape! Installation was surprisingly simple. My old friend is as good as new. You could choose to buy cheaper furniture and replace it every few years, or you can step up to the best and with a minimum of maintanence, enjoy DECADES of reliable service! Very reputable parts supplier! ... show more

  • Got us back to reclining again.
Got our 20-year-old recliner sofa to recline again -- although tension of springs definitely NOT as strong as originals. Still, happy that buying a pair for around 20 bucks has delayed us from shopping for a new sofa! (Might need a new pair for the other side soon.)

  • I like to fix things myself
With a little technical advice, my husband and I were able to replace the broken spring on our recliner. FYI, the ends of the springs have a black coating on them, which doesn't show in any of the pictures. It is designed to reduce noise and prolong the life of the springs as told to me by Recliner-Handle's customer service. I like to fix things myself, if at all possible, and I really appreciate companies like Recliner-Handles that allow me to do just that. ... show more

  • Well made - rubberized ends - foam inside spring
If this is the length you need for your broken recliner spring, but these. Well made. Mine was a little long so measure and be sure to get the correct one

  • Great springs, well worth the money.
These springs worked great. My recliners are like new again. I fixed 3 chairs (replaced 2 springs in each one), and have a 4th that didn't need fixing (as it doesn't get much use, so it's like new anyway). My friends can't tell which were fixed from the one with the original springs. No joke. It only took a couple minutes to install them. Just follow the instructions, it's easy. ... show more
