I had been using the ISP provided Huawei Router which gave a max throughput of 10Mbps. 10Mbps is embarrassing as even console updates for XBox or PlayStation take a very very long time. After I plugged this is and after a long troubleshooting day of finding the correct country firmware the bandwidth went up to 250Mbps. Our previous router was an Asus RX-AC5300. It lasted 7 years. The router before that was also an Asus and it lasted over 5 years. This new AX6000 is awesome. I love all the new features and the RBG light effects are pretty neat. Most important, is our internet is more stable and the speeds are more consistent. This can do all kinds of stuff. It's very good for a house of people and you need to monitor traffic and set up a network that everyone knows how to use. Check the YT reviews before you buy though!
