I have not had any issues so far with this mobo. However, it has only been a little over a week. Will update if anything does happen. Updated bios, smooth no issues for me. It is a fantastic built mobo, if you can nab it at a cheaper price go for it. I utilize all the features, if you don't rather defeat the purpose of the ROG Max Apex Z690. ... show more

  • Great board as long as it doesn't break!
Noticed that the RAM clips were loose and reported it to RMA. 1 month later one of the RAM slots stopped working but they are still unable to do Advanced RMA due to "stock issues". They keep asking me to do standard RMA which is a process requires me to pay shipping both ways and wait 2+ weeks to get my board back. ASUS is incredibly out of touch with the customers. Pray that none of your ASUS hardware ever breaks. ... show more

  • A niche MB made specifically for overclocking.
The VRM and 2 DIMM slots, along with the plethora of extreme cold oc features make this motherboard stand out. Personally, I use it right now as my daily, but others may want the more mainstream ASUS boards.

  • Going to have to RMA. People are having issues not just me.
I'm going to have to r.m.a. this board. People are having issues with the earlier lots at, random. I'm one of the lucky ones, I guess. I can't run above 5800mhz ram while other people are running 7200mhz with their newest r.m.a. of the board / their newer lot second purchase, of the board. YAY

  • False Advertisment
Buyer beware. I purchased this motherboard but what I received isn't what is shown in any of adversities/sites/videos for the motherboard. Mine came with one black plastic cooler plug and one chrome colored plug. Everywhere else shows two chrome-colored plugs. I thought this a simple fix but after contacting ASUS, providing pictures for evidence, and having my ticket escalated multiple times to senior management I'm being told the part isn't supported in the US anymore. How is a product that was just released not supported anymore? To top it off they aren't even offering to send me two matching plugs that are supported in the US. If something simple as a cooler plug on a newly released motherboard isn't supported in the US anymore, then it makes you wonder what else isn't supported not only on this motherboard but across their entire product list. You won't know until it's too late and you need to contact them. ... show more
