I want to start off with I had to return 2 boards from buying from Amazon used like new. I would have kept the boards but they kept coming in with bent CPU pins. For Amazon I would give them 0 stars if I could, but this is a review for the product. The actual product has all the features you would need. I threw in 6400 cl30 ram and it overocked with ease. The value is there if you can get it under 200, and I would recommend anyone it at that price. It's a great white/silver board that would look fantastic in any contrast or all white builds. As far as all the reviews talking about boot time, I truelly don't understand what there doing wrong. I have had zero set up or boot time issues. It boots in a perfectly reasonable time for me... Overall this is a great board, but Amazon needs to check the boards they sell better.

Purchased the ASUS X870-P WIFI as a second option, to get a new build up and running, as Amazon notified me of significant shipping delays on the target delivery day of my originally ordered ASUS X670E-Pro WIFI. Thought I would build out the system and just return the X670E when it showed but little did I know. After assembling the build with X870 I could not get it to POST. LED was fast-flashing indicating an issue with the DRAM so I picked up two other "supported" options locally and tried testing with those. Nothing. I've built all my PCs over the last 20 years so it wasn't like I was a newbie and figured I would try ASUS support. They ran me through the usually litany of questions - CPU, DRAM, PSU, etc. - all of which were fine. Asked me to flash the BIOS to the most recent version and I did that as well. Still nothing....basically the X870 was DOA. ASUS said if you send it back for diagnostics we will get you a new one in 14 days....no way I was waiting that long as the X670E finally arrived. Put that in and things booted right up. I realize with building a PC things are not always perfect right out of the box but this was an abysmal experience that cost me almost 12 hours of time. What's more I found the feature set of the X870P to be extremely lacking. No motherboard pinout for a system speaker to confirm POST, no CMOS clear...just old jumper style. The manual instruction provide was subpar at best. Net-net save you money and don't buy an X870P...it is just not worth it.

Note: Amazon groups reviews for multiple very different products under the same page. This review is for the X670E-PRO WiFi board. This is a great performer with all the bells and whistles you'll need. I am using it with Fedora Linux 40, kernel 6.10. I am happy to report that everything works as expected including suspend, RGB lighting controller, and CPU temperature sensors. The aesthetic is nice for my all-white build. The big plastic cover for the i/o panel is white, the heatsinks are silver, and the pcb is black. Nothing looks out of place. I'm using a Crucial T705 gen 5 SSD as a boot drive in the top slot. It has three other m.2 slots, which only support pcie gen 4. They all have heatsinks, and there are thermal pads included. With four total slots you'll probably be covered. It has some nice bonus features. There's a little button for releasing the graphics card from the slot without having to try and reach a little tab. There is a power button on the board in case you want to test it before wiring up the case. I find the BIOS nice to use and it pretty easy to make all the adjustments I want: RAM timing, CPU voltage, boot configuration, and fan curve. Newer AMD CPUs can almost always get a significant efficiency and performance improvement by dropping the voltage, which is pretty easy to do with this board. There's not much else to say about a motherboard. It works and it's reliable. I think this one is a good choice.
