First I have to say that I am very impressed with this laptop. I opted for the Asus 11.6 with 4gb of ram and 32gb of Storage. At first I was very hesitant as I saw a few reviews explaining that storage on this machine would run out with all the windows update, so I'll share my experience with the laptop. Screen: Very good for the price range. The screen can get super bright, brighter than my 2015 Macbook. The resolution is at 720 but looks crisp since the screen is only 11.6 inches. Power/Processor: Definitely not the strongest processor, however, for what I use it for (Microsoft Word, Youtube, etc), it works well. Actually, it works even better now, after I switched from WIndows 10 Home S Mode to regular Windows 10 Home which is offered for free in the Microsoft Store after updating. Chrome is very fast compared to the Microsoft Edge Browser. Some pages take a few more seconds to load but I wasn't expecting it to be as sharp as it is for an Intel Celeron processer, but it works great for Word and Chrome. I would not recommend using this for photo or video editing or games, just casual use and word processing. Battery: Lasts up to 11 hours and I love it!! I don't have to worry about taking my charger everywhere with me. Weight/Build Quality: Super light weight and easy to carry around since it's smaller than the average laptop. The laptop also feels very well built. Storage: After upgrading to a newer version of Windows, I used Disk Clean Up and was able to clear up a lot of space. Right now Windows takes up 11.1 gb and I have enough memory left for my apps and another update when necessary. I also bought a micro SD to store my files so that I won't use up the hard drive. All in all, the 32gb works for me just fine. Keyboard/Toouchpad: Keyboard is full size and is a joy to type on. The trackpad is also good but I have noticed it slows down when loading a video on youtube. Not a huge issue but I thought it's worth noting. Wifi: Very strong connection All in all: I highly recommend this laptop if you are on a budget and looking for a machine for school or office work.     • great for the price!!!
this is a cheap, lite weight laptop. its not very powerful and doesn't have a lot of storage. but it has a nice interface and a smooth look. at first when I got this thing I loved it.... it ran multiple apps at the same time very well. but after three days its started to randomly giving me a black screen. when I restart the laptop it tells me that the screen drivers didn't turn on..... then it gets back to work like nothing happens. after about 20 minutes the same thing happens all over again. my laptop is going to update soon and ill have to see if the drivers are fix..... if they are not I will have to return this laptop..... I read a review that said this laptop cant download chrome..... that Is not true. this laptop comes in S mode which means you cant download apps online. all you have to do is turn this off in settings and your good to go. cont. i replace my old laptop and got the same model and there are no problems. i would 100% buy this again and i love the product!!!! ... show more

With the influx of Smart Phones, when the day arrived that our 10 year old laptop needed to be replaced, I really had to think if it made sense to do so. After thinking this over, smart phones are great but can they do everything. so the search began. I didn't need a big laptop, not did I need 15.6" screen(or pay$400!!) When I came across the ASUS, my first though was this may do the trick. I only need it for a few light duty record keeping items and unlike the other machine, I am not keeping tons of data on it. The RAM was ok at 4GB but the memory had me concerned at 32GB. The processor was not a concern but I was anxious to see the performance. Long story short, package arrived (after USPS placed at wrong address and we had to hunt it down). This is a sleek little machine! I was surprised how fast it was and responseded quickly to prompts and commands. It is light weight which is awesome! Nice product!!! ... show more

    • Not bad for the price
It is not bad for the price. It runs fine enough, but keep in mind that the storage capacity is low so do not plan to download lots of files, apps, or games, and it is passively cooled so it will get hot really quick. The usb type C port is great with all of the things that you can do with it, and so far all of the functions of the computer and Windows 10 Home work as expected. It is great for light use, but if you plan to run a couple or more programs at once or do other multitasking then I would reconmend looking at other options. It does NOT support a SIM or eSIM. Got this as a replacement for my fathers Chromebook. As much as he loved the size and weight of that computer, he could never move himself away from Microsoft, especially since all his previous work had been done in office. This little notebook is the perfect solution. Had to convert Win 10 S to Win 10 (easily done via googling a few key words) and remove the standard Win 10 bloatware. The SSD is tiny and only really suitable for the OS space. Once office was installed, that left just over 3GBs of free space. I installed a 128GB micro SD card and directed the OS to save files here as default as well as any apps my father decided to install in the future. Even with the office install, the PC starts up super fast from a cold boot. I now have the prefect small, lightweight Win10 PC with MS office. Perfect for basic browsing, vid streaming, IP calls and viewing/editing office docs. Great value for money if one takes the time to setup properly. ... show more
