I love this latop. I have had it for almost a year and it is just part of my daily life and I would lose my mind if something happened to it. The two problem I do have with this laptop are, one....there is no number keypad. That is a little thing I like to have but not a deal breaker at all. It has just taken some getting use to. The second thing, for me, is a biggie. The charger is put in the most awkward place. It is in the middle of the left side next to the usb port and it falls out all the time. The fit is not tight and the weight of the L shaped cord just makes it easier to come out. It drives me nuts when all the sudden, I see the brightness dip and I already know.... the cord is not attached again. You get so lost in what you are doing that you don't even notice that it fell out, yet again. I have considered using electrical tape and just taping it in but maybe thats a bit much. Anyway, that is my review. I love her with all heart, flaws and all. ... show more

Its been a few months since I have purchased the MSI GF63 Gaming Laptop from Computer Upgrade King. Very satisfied with the performance of this laptop and has everything I wanted in an MSI laptop. I liked that Computer Upgrade King provided tech support which was easy to access and the technician was very helpful in helping me set up my laptop and address any questions that I had about the laptop. Over all this laptop is a beast. But like most beasts once it starts laboring hard it starts breathing hard ! MEANING omcong you start to put some pressure on the system it gets very loud ( even with multiple methods for cooling that are external ). But it's power is top notch. Decent computer, works fine. I’ve seen multiple reviews regarding 7 hour battery life. Spoke to MSI and they said it’s not true. My battery is dead after about 90minutes of basic use. MSI was pretty much no help, also told me it’s not good for gaming. Even though it’s labeled as a gaming computer. If I knew the truth I would have never purchased it. ... show more

Bought this as a replacement for my wife's old laptop in April 2022. It's used mainly for picture and video editing. With the 32GB of ram and the GeForce GTX 1650 she doesn't have any problems or hang up when viewing or editing. I use this machine primarily for editing video. It is so much faster than my previous box that I was using. Has cut my time to process hour-long broadcasts by 2/3 the time. Strong laptop!

I am loving the speed of this computer. Considering what I was trying to use previously, it is like night and day. Unfortunately, I am not a gamer, but my wife is big into taking videos and doing editing, which she could not do on our former desktop. Only issue I have found was that it was advertised with a webcam, but the computer does not show there being one in the hardware. Not a big deal to me as I did not buy for the resolution of the webcam (720p), and generally use my own which gives at least 1080p anyhow. Great buy though. Just an FYI- you will probably need to hold down the FN and F6 to enable the webcam. If in doubt, look at your setup guide. ... show more
