Most of the folks at Asurion are pretty easy to deal with, but some of them insist on putting your money on an Amazon Gift Card which doesn't PLEASE me. That's why I gave them ONLY 4 stars!!! I charged my purchase on a credit card and that bill has long since been paid!!! THIS IS NOT THE WAY A COMPANY SHOULD DO BUSINESS!!! I WANT MY MONEY!!! NOT A GIFT CARD!!! I WANT A CHECK SENT TO ME!!! After I wrote this, I called Asurion for the 3rd time. This last time, I got a very pleasant lady and she fixed my problem, and I am NOW going to be receiving a check!!! So, PLEASE beware that they do have that option!!! So, if you get one of their stubborn butt people on the line and he or she refuses to select that option, hang up and call back!!! I know 3 phone calls is a lot of phone calls, but it is worth my time to get my reimbursement sent to me via a check. Hey, if I could get them to refund my credit card, I would call 5 or 6 times!!! ... show more

    • Excellent tech support, and service. I trust asurion.
the tech support is very patient and knowledgable. Tech support helped me with at least two of my warrantied purchases. Asurion had me send my asus rog computer to the manufactuer to be fixed, cause it was still under warranty. the manufacturer returned it and said the damage was caused by user, even though the computer never worked correctly from day one. The manufacturer quoted me $100 less than the purchase price to repair computer. I then sent computer to asurion and Asurion reloaded the boot software, and the computer worked for a few weeks. After manufacturer returned computer, the entire turnaround time from calling asurion to begin a claim, to computer return was about two weeks, including the time waiting for the packaging material asurion sent me to protect my computer during shipment. When the computer failed again, i started a new claim and shipped it back to asurion. They sent me a check for 100% refund of purchase price. I now own a hp omen, and will never purchase an asus again. After this experience of excellent tech support, and service, i now trust asurion. My little asus vivobook that i bought at the same time as the asus rog, was giving me problems with the 8 key, and on a saturday, technical support helped me with that also. The vivobook had been shipped with windows s, and the tech upgraded me to windows 10, which is the windows my computer was supposed to have come with. In addition he reloaded drivers and checked the bios. For some reason, the 8 still did not work, both on my computer keyboard, and on tech supports remote keyboard, although i could pull up the onscreen keyboard and the 8 would work. Tech support recommended contacting the manufacturer, since my computer is still under warranty. The manufacturer was closed on saturday, but when i went to call them on monday, my 8 key was working again. ... show more
