Purchased this protection for my new Macbook Air. I've used it twice for cracked screens when I fell asleep and rolled over the computer or pushed it off the bed. Whoops! :). NO problem! Asurion emailed me a prepaid mailing label, I had a mac shipping box. I sent it back and got it back about a week or so later, good as new. No hassles, no questions. AND, no co-pay! I think Apple Care now charges like $99 for a screen repair. I had another claim for some $50 outdoor led lights i bought. They didn't ask any questions just immediately sent me an amazon gift card for the cost of the product. I will use this more often. It doesn't always make sense, but sometimes it is great.

I am under the monthly $16.99 Asurion plan. I recently had a sump/water pump fail and wanted it covered. It is not easy... I never did find out how to file a claim online. I finally did the Live Chat. Your monthly plan is reissued each month with a different order number. You'll need that specific order to even start. Then you'll need the order number for the product which you're filing the warranty on. After that, it went through and was paid in under 24 hours. When I asked how to do it online in the future, they gave me an Amazon phone number, which made no sense, but I called it anyway. I couldn't even remotely understand half the words this guy said. I tried to really dumb down my words to explain it. I explained why I was calling, that I wanted the online link. This was a waste of 10 minutes of my life. He wanted to elevate me to some other assistance. I said forget it and hung up.

I have gotten a drinking water pump each year for the last two years because each only worked for a year, and I only use them half the year. I don't normally get the extended warranty on cheaper products because most products last a while. I didn't get the extended warranty on the first one, but I did on the second one, and it was a wise choice. The second pump had just run out on it's factory warranty so I turned it in on the Asurion extended warranty and got an almost immediate refund on an Amazon gift card.

I've had great experiences with Asurion over the years. It's the only protection I rely on. I have always found the agents to be extremely helpful whenever I needed to file a claim. The processing speed has been impressively quick, sometimes within hours of the defective item being shipped. The warranty service has been exceptional, with no claims ever being denied for uncovered issues. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with Asurian and plan to rely on their services for my warranty requirements.
