I bought this 4 year plan ($50-$59.99) plan for some multi-color LED outdoor solar lights. I'd bought the lights on August 15, 2025, at the end of September 2026 (yep, one month AFTER warranty expired) 3 of the 12 lights we had up (out of a 20-pack) stopped functioning. I had nearly 3 years left so I thought, maybe I will just wait and see how many more go out, but then thought I'd go ahead and deal with it now, because if they replaced/repaired them, I could put a few more lights out for the Halloween season. And if they refunded, I could take advantage of Prime day deals to get some new lights that work. I filed a claim which was resolved LITERALLY immediately as I clicked FILE CLAIM after filling out the VERY short report. NEVER seen anything so pain free to deal with. 100% recommend and will buy for anything electronic again. Yes, most of you will never need to use it, and that's great, that means you bought a quality product and okay, you wasted a few dollars. But in the event the purchase has issues after the warranty, this is great to know your money wasn't wasted. THAT is what this is good for, peace of mind.

Purchased this protection for my new Macbook Air. I've used it twice for cracked screens when I fell asleep and rolled over the computer or pushed it off the bed. Whoops! :). NO problem! Asurion emailed me a prepaid mailing label, I had a mac shipping box. I sent it back and got it back about a week or so later, good as new. No hassles, no questions. AND, no co-pay! I think Apple Care now charges like $99 for a screen repair. I had another claim for some $50 outdoor led lights i bought. They didn't ask any questions just immediately sent me an amazon gift card for the cost of the product. I will use this more often. It doesn't always make sense, but sometimes it is great.

I am under the monthly $16.99 Asurion plan. I recently had a sump/water pump fail and wanted it covered. It is not easy... I never did find out how to file a claim online. I finally did the Live Chat. Your monthly plan is reissued each month with a different order number. You'll need that specific order to even start. Then you'll need the order number for the product which you're filing the warranty on. After that, it went through and was paid in under 24 hours. When I asked how to do it online in the future, they gave me an Amazon phone number, which made no sense, but I called it anyway. I couldn't even remotely understand half the words this guy said. I tried to really dumb down my words to explain it. I explained why I was calling, that I wanted the online link. This was a waste of 10 minutes of my life. He wanted to elevate me to some other assistance. I said forget it and hung up.

I purchased the extended warranty, and when the pump failed after only a few uses, the refund process was fast and hassle-free. Great customer service and excellent warranty support.

I have gotten a drinking water pump each year for the last two years because each only worked for a year, and I only use them half the year. I don't normally get the extended warranty on cheaper products because most products last a while. I didn't get the extended warranty on the first one, but I did on the second one, and it was a wise choice. The second pump had just run out on it's factory warranty so I turned it in on the Asurion extended warranty and got an almost immediate refund on an Amazon gift card.
