I purchased the protection plan along with the product. It didn’t cost a lot and I am so glad I did. Two years into using the product daily, I started having issues. I looked thru my orders and found the product and the plan. I tapped on the plan and chose the product it was safeguarding. I had to obtain proof of purchase . I uploaded screenshots of my credit card account. I was able to track the date of purchase thru my Amazon account. The questions were simple. The instructions were easily explained. Within several minutes while still on the Asurion link, I received an email stating the total price(price of item+tax) was on a gift card from Amazon. The whole process took less than 10 minutes. The claim was user friendly.

The credit card company requires a card number, expiration date and a cvv number. I had this problem with other vendors and when I called my credit card company that is what they told me.
