This warranty was well worth the money. After a year of purchasing my diffuser the fan motor stopped working. I called Asurion and they took my claim info and talked me through the next steps. UPS showed up the next business day to pick up the broken diffuser. A couple of days after that I received my refund (i.e. Amazon gift card) in my email for the purchase price of the diffuser. I was able to purchase a replacement diffuser from Amazon the next day and surely I purchased the Asurion warranty again since it worked so well the first time.

had no problems with Asurion. I bought maybe 9 protection plans from them. So far, I had to use it 2 times. Both times I was offered replacement or refund.

It was amazing how quickly my request for a refund on the dehumidifier we owned that stopped working was processed and a gift card sent to me by e-mail. Absolutely worth the cost of the protection plan!

My FreAire dehumidifier comes with a 1 year warranty, and I purchased at the same time the Asurion 3 year warranty. What I cant decipher is if the Asurion warranty starts at the end of the manufacturer warranty or if I have a 1 year overlap in warranties? If the Asurion warranty starts immediately then I'm really getting a 2 year warranty from Asurion. Or am I reading it incorrectly? Some clarification would be nice.
