  • Exceeded my expectations
Right from the start. I called to report my drone's epic plunge into the water and ultimate drop to the bottom of 6 down. I was unable to retrieve the drone because of the distance from land and the depth of the beaver bog. I was told by a rep that I needed the drone to file a claim. Because I did not have the drone, they allowed me to cancel my policy and receive a full refund. The next day, I returned to the scene of the crime with fishing line, a swivel & a treble hook. With these implements, I was able to fashion a tool and actually retrieved the drone. BUT>>> I already canceled my policy. I called again and explained my situation and that I had recovered the drone. The representative asked me to hold. She returned, stating that although I had cancelled the insurance policy, she was able to reinstate it and therefore my drone would be covered. I was pleasantly shocked!!! I packaged it up and mailed it off to the repair facility. After 5 days, I was informed that the drone was unrepairable, and they refunded the FULL purchase price, including the monies spent on extra batteries, etc. This was soooo much more that I ever expected. I have since purchased a new DJI Mini 3 and guess what, I insured it with Asurion. You should too!!! ... show more

  • The Asurion staff were very professional, and polite to deal with.
Asurion, were quick to respond to my concerns and they kept me well informed of how the camera was being processed. This is a very good protection program. I'm glad that I purchased it.

  • Get insurance when you purchase an item
It was a great comfort, when our new camera was dropped and stopped working, to know the camera could be fixed because we had bought the Asurion coverage. There were some problems with communication with Asurion with the process, but all worked out in the end.

  • Dependable, like WAY MORE than I ever expected!
I consider myself to be a "wise" shopper. When I saw the product protection ad, I figured, "Just like when you buy a fan or blow dryer, you can purchase extra warranty you'll never use." I didn't think it would be for dropping or accidental damage. Well, it happened, and guess what? It was my responsibility to provide the paperwork and proof of purchase information, but they received my information and promptly remedied the situation in less than a week. Now I'm waiting for my reordered product to replace the original, and I am speechless. I would do this again in a heartbeat. I'm glad I read the extra information, otherwise I would have been out of pocket to fix or replace, and it was totally an unforeseeable incident/accident. Made my week. ... show more

This product is worth the purchase. It was a Christmas gift for my husband and something happened out of our control the following day. I immediately contacted the Warranty department. No hassle about the accident. The service department quickly took our information and request we send the damaged product to them. Within three days of shipping the item...we received updates throughout the entire process. Once they determined the product was unrepairable, they offered to replace the product ASAP.
