  • Great service! They need to work on the their return packaging.
They refunded the purchase price of the computer when they couldn't repair it. Long story short, we mailed my son's gaming computer to Asurion to fix the hard drive. They returned it to us in a flimsy box, a single layer of bubble wrap and nothing else. The computer was damaged in shipping. We sent it back to them and they couldn't repair it, so they gave us a refund of our purchase price so we could buy a new one. Great customer service, but terrible packaging service. ... show more

  • Ignored hardware errors when reparing computer returned still broke - hung up on
I just received back a computer sent for repair to have the tech ignore all error codes and the manufacturer's diagnosis of a hardware issue. They reinstalled windows and shipped it back still broken. It crashed within 15 minutes of using it in the exact way reported on the issue reporting form sent originally. Extremely frustrating process after waiting 1 week for a "mailing kit" to arrive, a week for them to receive it, a week for the repair, and another week to get it back. No one ever contacted us to tell us what was being done. Now we are told we have to repeat the process. I needed a refund issued and they refunded me immediately. It will take a few days to get into my account, but it was easy to reach somebody from Amazon and the seller contacted me a few minutes afterwards and refunded.

  • APPARENTLY, READ FINE PRINT BEFORE PURCHASING!!!!
Purchased this warranty to cover a new computer we purchased for our son. The main reason we chose to purchase was it said it covered spills. Well, that is not true; it covers spills on laptops but not CPU's. So, money wasted, we are paying out of pocket to get the computer fixed, I just wished I had read every single line of what it covers instead of just skimming. So, a spill on a laptop is not preventable but on a CPU is. I don't understand that part, but live and learn. Will not purchase from this company again.
