For the price I am very pleased. I will say we will not be using this for airline travel, but rather as a vacation crate for when our dogs are pets sat by friends and for car travel. It is not the most heavy duty, (not flimsy either) but will certainly work for our use with our nondestructive crate loving dogs. I will say I was a bit baffled at first when I incorrectly tried to put the first bolt through the opening meant for optional zip ties and then could not properly secure the bolt. Just be sure you are putting the bolts through the square holes and it will be an easy set up. I would say this crate is similar to what I found in big box stores for double the price. ... show more

I got this as a temporary place for my pup for when I am away from home so there are no accidents around the house. I ordered a larger size so my little Pom has room to stand and turn. There have been couple accidents in this crate and it is very easy to clean. I just spray it with some soap and water and wipe clean. I tilt it up and my arm can reach the length without sticking my head in to wipe it out. There are not holes at the bottom and the viewing holes are high enough so that nothing gets on my floor. Bought two of these as a solution to how I’d survive a solo drive across the country with two corgis who war. These fit perfect side by side in the back of the grand Cherokee. I bought an used one, as the price for a new kennel seemed too expensive. Overall, this kennel was easy to assemble but the top handle seemed a bit fragile. My cat is only 17lbs so, the 28' sz was perfect. For a heavier pet, I may be concerned with that handle coming off. Note that I bought 2 different options/brands to run a quick test and train my cat to get used to his new kennel prior to flying. Best thing to do with kennels is to order weeks in adavance to ensure it meets the need of your pet. ... show more

Sound phobic dog in the RV. Needs a safe place for her when I was not in the RV. This works well for my needs. It's easier to move from the overhead storage to the floor to use.
