    • Brake Failure, Damaged Parts, and a Difficult Resolution

I really wanted to give this bike a good review because my 15-year-old stepson loved it, and our original plan was to keep it. Unfortunately, during his first ride, the rear brake had little to no stopping power. While riding downhill, he crashed trying to avoid a vehicle and injured his arm and wrist. The crash also bent the front forks, damaged the headlight, and scratched the controls. Afterward, we looked through the assembly instructions but could not find any information about adjusting the brakes before riding. When I contacted the seller, they agreed in writing to send replacement parts free of charge. However, after telling us the parts had been shipped, they unexpectedly asked us to pay $120 for shipping, then later reduced the request to $75. We were disappointed because the parts had originally been promised free of charge. We spent a long time trying to resolve the issue, but the negotiations kept changing. Eventually, we had to ask Amazon for help. Amazon instructed the seller to provide a prepaid return label, but instead the seller continued encouraging us to keep the bike rather than following Amazon’s instructions. Amazon ultimately stepped in and resolved the situation. When the replacement parts finally arrived, the front fork was bent and had to be repaired before it could be used. The “high-quality phone holder worth $39.90” that the seller promised was also extremely disappointing. It was essentially a hollow piece of cheap plastic with a fake USB port molded into it and no internal components at all, making it feel like a very low-quality accessory worth only a few dollars at most. ... show more

Works great. The battery life is good. The appearance of the bike is exactly like the picture. This bike was worth every penny that we spent. The speed depends on the terrain. If you are going up hills it is a little slower but it usually gets up to 30mph.

Nice, however poor quality on screws. One screw arrived stripped and we had to saw it off and replace it. And it was on the handle bar area that had to be taken apart and adjusted in order to finnish assembling. Other than that my son loves it so far .

I was having a problem with the length of usage with the battery. After contacting the seller regarding the battery the seller shipped a replacement battery at no charge. I was very pleased at the seller's response to my problem.

The bike I truly like but the speed that was posted was totally off. I bought it because it was stated that it does 37mph ,when in fact it only does 28mph. I was a little disappointed about that. Other than that the bike performance is good
