These cables are beautiful. They are super easy to work with and allow easy bends to be made. I'm not sure what the other reviewers mean when they say these are difficult to shape. I thought they were pretty decent. As you can see, the EPS cable had to bent quite a bit to fit but it worked like a charm and took no time at all to fiddle with. Another thing to note is that these, unlike other brands for the same price, have pre-installed one-piece combs. That's the main reason I chose these over the other brands. ... show more

Pros: • awesome quality for the price • 2x 8pin and 2x 6pin PCI-E variants, and of course your CPU and 24-pin cables (6 total) • can be trained easily with included combs • thicker cables look cleaner and of higher quality than cablemod’s budget option. Cons: • Wish there were a couple additional cable combs included to help with come bends of the PCI-E cables. Not really a con, I took the extra time to train the cables to bend right and it looked great in the end anyway. • color options are a bit limited, but they’re a $30 a set. That’s the price of (1) Cablemod custom cable, like literally the 24pin pro cable would be like $26 alone. Conclusion: I’ve tried all the custom cables. Cablemod extension sets, cablemod pro customs, ensource, and these are by far the BEST VALUE there is in 2018. Not only are they dirt cheap, but they’re way better quality than the Cablemod extension counterpart. At this price point, this is a no brainer, all day! These cable are really bright and vibrant. I was a little disappointed that the cable combs weren't pre-applied like some users have reported. I had a terrible time in the past with cable combs and was worried they wouldn't look nice. I was wrong. The combs were of good quality and the came out looking nice, with some patience, not enough to remove a star. These are great looking extensions, and for the price they can't be beat. Stiff at first, but with a little work they bend just fine. My major gripe is the 24 pin extension I received was very finicky at first, needing to be positioned a certain way to actually be able to power on. It's been just over a month, and now it doesn't work at all. I've tested on a corsair cx750m and a corsair tx850m on separate motherboards, no dice. All the other cables worked fine, but I expected more than a month of use out of these. Pros: price, looks and feel. Cons: failure after short amount of time. Try them out, seriously. I've not seen many reports of failure, so I am very much in the minority. They look great and can add life to any PC. ... show more

Ordered these so I didn't have to wait on cable mod to make me some cables. These are some solid cable kits that power a 10900k & 3090 and haven't had any issues with them unlike others. I'd suggest that if there were some problems to make sure your PSU is a higher wattage that what you actually need since the 3000 series likes to pull a lot of power. I use these cables with a HX1200 psu which gives me a lot of headroom to say the least. Cable combs were kind of a chore putting them on but they look great and really do make the build pop! I'd highly recommend these again and again and the only thing I would change is the ability to have a another SKU or the ability to buy a single 6+2 pin cable for people who have big cards that like lots of power. I had to buy 2 kits just to have the right amount of 6+2 cables for my 3090. But overall I can't complain. They look beautiful compared to the stock cables of the HX1200. Also pro tip! If you have 3 × 8 pin cables running to your graphics card you can use one of the 24 pin cable combs and make it look even cleaner! I figured this out after the fact lol ... show more

TL;DR You won't regret buying these. They are very easy to work with and they look and feel great! I'm currently in the process of building my first desktop PC, so I wanted everything to be be just right. Something I've wanted since deciding to build were custom cables, and so I started to do research. A buddy of mine who had recently purchased these cables (also in white) was very pleased with his purchase and recommended them when I asked how he liked them. So, I decided to take the plunge and buy a set myself, and I am so very glad I did! My set came with both black and clear combs, which was perfect, as I wanted clear combs for the visible part and then I was used the black combs for cable management in the back. For example, my graphics card requires two 8pin PCIe cables and I was having trouble routing them and keeping them from becoming a mess (due to the way the stock PSU PCIe 8+8 cable splits), so I used a black 24pin comb at the base of the PCIe extensions to keep them together and neat. It worked like a charm! Even though this is my very first build and I don't know what I'm doing half the time, I was able to install these cables with ease and actually thoroughly enjoyed doing it! I was initially concerned that the added length of the cables would cause a problem and make things messy, but fortunately they didn't, and in fact with some of the cables it actually made routing easier. Granted, I have an NZXT H510, and the cable management in that case is already very good, but it is a smaller case so room to work with does have a premium. All in all, I am very happy with my purchase. You can't go wrong with these cables and I can definitely see why they are so popular with enthusiasts (especially my friend, who is very particular about this sort of thing). Oh, and I made sure to tug on each cable to make sure it was firmly attached and they all were, no worries there.
