I thought the back pack out be larger than it is but I am satisfied with it's performance so far. The inside holds more than it looks like it will from the outside. Seems durable and is easy to use. I lay mine flat to unzip so my equipment won't fall out. The back pack comes with inner Velcro dividers that you have to install yourself but that leaves room for imagination in how you want to organize your equipment. I used the illustration of the product to guide insertion of the Velcro compartments and it works fine. Overall, I am pleased with my purchase. However, if you have external lighting equipment or more than 2 cameras to pack , I'd recommend the larger version of this bag. This bag does is NOT large enough to store a folded tripod but does offer protection from the elements and seems a good value for the money so far.

The most critical thing I can say about this bag is the straps are absolutely too short for an adult. Need at least 2-3 more inches. Otherwise this bag would get 5 stars. It’s extremely versatile for someone only wanting to take one or two lenses, maybe an extra battery or even SD cards. Room for lens protectors and or solar filters as well, it’s got space but it’s not ample. It’s adjustable to your needs, you don’t need to keep a long lens on your camera if you don’t want to. Where the camera sits up top it’s adjustable fully so you can leave your shorter lens on if preferred. It’s also roomy up top where the camera sits, enough that your neck strap will fit without being removed again if preferred. Lens size it fits my Nikon 70-200 perfectly on the side with the camera up top. Leaving space for smaller lenses or not as bulky ones. I’m not sure if much bigger lenses would fit so take it at that. There’s plenty of padding top and bottom and throughout the partitions. Fully adjustable partitions mean you can make this bag your own. Pockets and straps on the sides of this bag for your tripod, monopod or even a water bottle if you’d like. The color is vibrant but not over the top, the purple is a lovely shade. The outside of this bag feels water resistant. I haven’t tested it so I’m not saying one way or the other. Oh and with all my equipment which isn’t much my MacBook 13” fits right in, a little snug but it does fit. For someone like me who’s just starting out with a Nikon D3400 kit it’s perfect except for those short straps.
