It was difficult to get all of the wires together, we had to take it down + reinstall when one wire came loose. Also having two people to install was helpful. I thought assembly was pretty easy but might be difficult for some people.

I think its a cool looking fixture! However, I wasn’t satisfied on the assembly portion and wouldn’t recommend this to someone who doesn’t have electrical knowledge. I did use the supplied ferrule connectors to tie all the wires together for each bulb. I still needed 14 gauge copper wire to connect to my circuit in the ceiling because the leads in the fixture aren't long enough, plus attaching 6 wires to white and 6 to black would be difficult to do on a ladder and probably isn’t code unless you have wire nuts that can accept seven wires. My advice it to cut two 6 inch pieces of 14 gauge copper wire that are black and white, then attach (using the white ferrule crimps) the six black wires from the fixture to your six inch black wire then repeat this step for the white wires so that you only need to attach two wires once you climb up. ... show more
