Installed these LED under cabinet light replacing failing fluorescent light fixtures without issue. The fixtures are awesome, work perfectly, look great and the combined ability to adjust setting for light “softness” combined with dimming exactly met our needs. Low profile tucks in nicely under cabinets at half the thickness of the original lights so now we don’t even see the fixture, just the beautiful lighting. Installation note: leave space between backsplash and back of fixture (1/8 to 1/4”) needed for flexing space to re-clip the light strip sub assembly front edge under the clips that are stamped into the mounting housing.

First, these are very nice lights, well constructed, nice options for light color temps and easy to install for a intermediate to expert home owner. Now, these may not be for the novice homeowner as they require hard wiring (they don't have a plug) and requires basic knowledge of electrical wiring. For my use, they were and excellent option to replace fluorescent fixtures with bad ballasts. Highly recommended!

I purchased the 40 and 48 inch versions to replace two old 48 inch fluorescent fixtures. The assembled end results I liked. The light color selection was very good, and we especially like the 2700k setting as it has some warmth. With an external dimmer switch they dimmed smoothly. The slim design fits out of sight under the cabinets. Very nice appearance as compared to the old bulkier flourescents. I am glad I did this. I did not like the tricky and at times frustrating and challenging assembly after wiring. I had the same issues many reviewers mentioned, namely it is hard to- in one case impossible-to snap back together. In the 40 inch unit, I had great difficulty unsnapping the center of the LED panel from the center tab in order to open it for wiring, and after wiring I could not snap it back together at that point. But as the ends snapped in it seemed solid enough, especially after snapping in the diffuser which helps to hold it in place. Also the color selection switch electrical board had fallen out during shipping; after some trial and error I was able to snap it back into place after first unsnapping the outboard plastic slider which must be reattached to it. Overall this is a tightly fit together product. I taped the final wiring into the wiring channel so that I could close up the LED panel, which helped a lot. My experience with assembly would make me look harder at alternatives in the future. But I am happy with the assembled and working product so far.

I like how consistent and balanced this lighting feels in daily use. This under cabinet light gives plenty of brightness without being harsh and blends in well under kitchen cabinets. The selectable color temperatures are a nice touch and make it easy to adjust the look of the space. Colors appear natural, and the dimming works smoothly without any noticeable issues. Overall, this hardwired under cabinet lighting feels dependable, looks clean once installed, and performs exactly as expected.

I recently purchased and installed two 32" and one 48" ASD undercounter bull nose light fixtures in our kitchen. They've just been installed, so I can't comment on durability or lifespan, but we're extremely pleased with their initial performance. The color variability works wonders. They're a little brighter than we'd prefer, but I'm assuming the addition of a dimmer switch will alleviate that. The reason for the missing stars is the lack of instructions and the difficulty of installation. They come with no instructions, and the website that is supposed to have them in fact has none I had to call the company to have them emailed to me. Even with the instructions, though, they are hell to install. I'm fairly handy, but I would not have been able to do so if we weren't replacing pre-existing hard wired fixtures that had all the wires in the perfect place for the new fixtures. The dismantling of the fixtures, however, which is required for hardwire installation, is not intuitive, and there are no screws; it's a matter of squeezing and pushing and pulling to separate the three principal components apart. Even with all that, there are three little tension tabs that hold the bulb bar, which runs the length of the fixture, in place, and we found it almost impossible to squeeze hard enough to get one of the tabs on each fixture to release. Although my wife and I succeeded in getting that done, we never could get the middle tab on any of the three fixtures to re-engage. I ended up drilling through the two layers of sheet metal that the tab was supposed to hold together, and screwing them into the bottom of the cabinet. I had to do this with two of the tabs on one of the fixtures. As we struggled with the first fixture, my wife at one point threw up her hands in anger and said these are crap, let's just return them, but I had too much invested in getting the first case affixed to the cabinet, wiring it and trying to reassemble the three components, to quit at that time, and once we had one up and operating, we liked it enough to fight on with the other two. The fact is that for me, because of poor design, every step of the process was hell. All it would take to make it reasonable would be a little larger case to more easily hold the wiring, and screws instead of tension tabs. Nevertheless, if the bulbs burn as long as advertised, which should extend past my lifetime, I will be pleased, but if they don't, I will look back on these fixtures with regret.

Just got done putting it under the cabinet for my in-laws and they love it. I like the fact we can change the temperature of the light for a bright white or solf light. The one thing that bothered me about this was, no instructions. No big deal for me, but you have to take it apart to mou t and wire the fixture.

So many things to comment on here. On some levels, the fit and finish is fine. The lights work fine and look good once installed. Ahhhh, installed, now that's the catch phrase. I offer a few tips for those who go ahead with this purchase: 1. Seperate the parts by taking the grounding nut off. This allows you to mount the base unit. 2. Use a flat blade screwdriver to carefully pry back the plate with the lights off the very small clips while also pulling back and away with the rearward part of the plate. 3. Do the reverse of this to reinstall the actual light plate once you get the base mounted. Now for the fun part. Trying to get this all together, wire nuts in place and refit the light plate is a very difficult task. If you're like me, you'll be laying on your back on the counter looking up. Trying to put the romex clamps on and into the box is a really tight fit. The best outcome from this is that you will learn an entirely new language during the process. One that will make the spouse cover the kids ears and sailors will blush. There just has to be a better design. I installed 4 of these. One was the 24" model and it was much easier. GOOD LUCK

Had an older fluorescent fixture that was failing. Found this LED replacement and it is great. Provides more light than the old fixture and the "temperature" is adjustable to match the surrounding fixtures. Seems very well made.
