I've had many knife bags over the years, including very expensive ones. My last bag gave out after years of great service, punctures, rips, and such. I purchased this to replace that bag and so far everything is holding up just fine. Knives are secure when the bag is closed, and spills on the surface wipe off easily. There is also enough room in the bag to actually allow space for extra small tools without causing excessive bunching in the bag. A good bag for a really good price.

Nice little bag, I work in a kitchen as a Chefs assistant. It holds all my gear and rolls up nice and small. I'm weary of the shoulder strap attachment points though, they are only single stitched, so use sparingly, or don't use the strap at all. Asaya should take this into account and cross stitch them.

I changed out one we already had (not this model), which was unpleasant, dirty, crammed, eh. Why is this one so much better? I'll tell you!! Massively more storage, nicer material, amazingly segmented sections that are well-thought out for proper chef & tool usage, and the best part, for me: On the old knife bag I threw away, the blade strip had velcro behind & in front of the blades - wanting to attach to itself in-between knives. This never worked out, well. HOWEVER, on THIS knife back, there are sections of velcro that begin & end every handful of knives(per the roll-folds), AND both velcro pieces are in FRONT of the knives, just to hold-back in place, NO MESS, just delight!! Thank you for a perfect knife bag!! Looks great, good color, and I even love the material. Brilliantly inspired

My complaint with this bag is that the knife slots stitched down are very snug on some of my knives. Like could barely get the merkens in them as they have super grippy handles, my shun & dalstrong with sleeker handled do better. The pockets are great for my timer, notepad and misc. Bakery tools. I may end up purchasing a different bag as id like to see the knife section have a flip top cover/protector to act as dual protection from knife slippage. As its made if you tip the bag knives "could" come crashing out if they arent snug enough.
