I love this lamp. There is just one thing that I think they could have improved on, and that is the brightness. Brighter bulbs. However, you can adjust the brightness to change the mood in the room, but even at its brightest setting, it is not as bright as I would have liked. I’ve never been into glam, but I was looking for an artful lamp that would make my piano nook look glamorous, and this is it! The crystals are stunning, and I feel extra fancy. It’s bright enough for most things (perhaps not intense or sustained reading or sewing but probably most other things), and the dimmer feels like luxury. I can see how the lamp could Set A Mood, if one wished. The base is marble, so it’s not going anywhere. It’s not tippy at all. Assembly wasn’t too difficult. The instructions were in the little bag with the wrench. I’m sure assembly would be easier with two people because you have to hold up the heavy base while screwing in the pole because the screw goes into the bottom of the base. It took me a while to figure out how to balance the pieces and still use the wrench. Another person simply holding it would have solved a lot of problems. However, I’m an independent woman, and I got it done with moderate swearing. After that, the assembly was quite easy and obvious. The light bulbs are these tiny little flat things—so cute! I will say, the box is very heavy and big (tall). I was able to scoot it in the front door, but then I asked for help moving it upstairs. I could have slid the box up on its side had help not been at hand. ... show more

I read the reviews, and the questions and answers before I ordered this item. Previous buyers said the bulbs included. My order arrived today.. There is no bulb and no documentation in the package. With all good reviews, I want to like this floor lamp. But with missing parts (no bulb), I can't try it. ... show more

This lamp was the perfect addition to my eclectic modern and mid-century living room. After I took the Christmas tree down, I wanted some sparkle and opted for this floor lamp. I bought the table lamp as well (also on amazon) and placed that on the console table beneath the tv. This lamp is easy to assemble and very sturdy. I love that it is dimmable, the arms rotate and the heads are also adjustable in angle. It really adds beautiful sparkle and interest to the room without being gauche or girl-y. As per the other reviewers, the pictures do not adequately show the type of light from this lamp. You can get an idea by seeing the shimmers on the wall reflection.
