WARM & INVITING We needed something affordable for a temporary floor covering while we replace our exciting carpet with wood floors. I was really trying to get an idea on what I might like in the space once we are finished. We got the 9x12 & it turned out to be the perfect size for the large area I needed. Not only was this the right price, I would buy it again for the exceptional clean up! And as you can see in the photos I provided, it is a stunning rug! A little thinner than I had anticipated but all in all, it suits our needs & adds a welcoming feel to our living room while under construction 😄 Note: Having 2 grandsons, this rug has already seen its share of spills and I am happy to report it cleaned up very nicely. I used girl math when selecting the size of the rug and oooooff I’m so happy I was accurate! It looks so good! It’s not a thick rug by any means, it’s actually rather thin, but I wasn’t looking for something that was thick.. I wanted something to protect the hardwood floors from getting scuff marks from the furniture, and also to keep mine and mine company’s feet warm while we are lounging (my living area.) In the pictures you can see that the rug wasn’t staying flat along the edges, that has since been self-corrected! I purchased this maybe 2 weeks ago now and over that time period it flattened out on its own. You can probably use heavy things like text books and etc to assist but I didn’t feel the need. I bought this rug for the living room 2 years ago now. This rug has withstood a lot; dogs, kids, spills, nails polish, moving across the country, etc. and it’s still in good shape! The photos and video are recent. I love the washed look of the rug but if you’re looking for a bright colored rug, keep looking . It’s definitely more on the firm side, I wouldn’t really call it soft. It’s surprisingly thin too, which I really like. I do have a few negatives about this rug though. For one, I feel like it’s always getting crooked. We straighten it, put the couches and table back on it and a few weeks later it’s crooked. Not sure if that’s just a rug problem or if it’s only this rug. Secondly, the slid resistant thing that goes under the rug (not sure what it’s called) seems to always show. I took a picture of this to show you (picture 1). There is a simple fix to this; scissor (see picture 3 for after picture). I have done this twice though. Overall I definitely recommend this rug for its price. I’ve never bought an expensive rug so I don’t know how they compare. ... show more

I am completely blown away with this rug! There were some reviews that made me a little nervous but I'm so glad I went through with it! Even the pictures on Amazon do not do this rug justice. It is absolutely gorgeous! It is way softer and cushiony than I expected it to be we did put a felt mat under it for some extra softness. There were concerns about it settling in this picture it's been down for about an hour or two. It's almost completely flat I figure over the next few days it'll need to be stretched out but it seems to be settling just fine. We have one little hump in it which I was concerned about but it seems to be settling also. It brightened up our living room which has terrible floors and really brought the room together in such a cozy way! It's huge it's comfortable it's beautiful and for the price you cannot go wrong! ... show more

Edit: after a few months it’s getting very matted down and doesn’t clean well. It’s still ok for the money but really just to hold us over until we can get a better rug. It's beautiful...and very thin. For the money it's a decent deal but it doesn't seem to be very well made. We had to order a carpet pad for underneath it. In the meantime, my husband rolled tape under the corners to keep it from sliding (ask the dog, she'll tell you why) and when I pulled the tape off, it pulled a bunch of carpet threads off as well. Love the look of this carpet! The only issue we had is that one corner of it is curled up, but this can be fixed with a little steam. It is exactly as pictured and very subtle and pretty. No smell that needed to be aired out like so many carpets! It is very thin, but that works for us. Very good value for the money - I couldn’t find one this large for anywhere near this price ... show more

I bought this twice! I bought the 5x7 to put under a 75inch wide couch. This is the gray color. The rug is definitely on the thin side and isn't easy to get the wrinkles out from shipping (in the bigger size it was even worse). Its a great neutral rug and the print is muted enough, it is just a nice subtle option. You might consider getting some rug stickies in the corner to help the rug stay flat on hard surfaces. I also bought the 7x10 (under beige couch in photos) and its a great center piece rug. You can see the wrinkles much more in the larger size. Take a while to get them out. ... show more
