I really like this chair. I'm actually using it as a chair for my bar, because I got sick of these small-piston stools on amazon giving out. This thing is really robust, the piston's really heavy with good attachments and a solid base, so it doesn't feel like breaking will be an issue. The build isn't that hard. You'll need your own allen wrench (hexwrench) and a socket wrench. You can use a regular wrench instead of a socket, but some of the spaces are pretty tight, so it's easier to tighten with sockets. The instructions are baaad though. It's pictures, no words. Step 1a shows that you need to remove a peg that's already inserted. You don't need to, and I don't think it's possible. Just skip that step if you're stuck, you can get the cowl on without removing the peg and reinserting it. Otherwise the build is pretty common sense. The chair locks into rotation unless you press lightly on the pump (but not enough to lower it.) The lock isn't super strong though, so you can still rotate without the press if you give it some force. If you wanted to always rotate more freely, you could probably make a quick and dirty rubber tip for the bottom of the lever to keep it from ever locking. The chair arrived with no damage for me. Also the arms are a nice surprise: That flat bit at the end is a good resting place for my water bottle.

We started off a little rough the plastic sides were cracked and broken. The company sent me replacement parts that was easy to install. The chair is so comfortable and my clients love it.

I love the chair, but to be honest, the instructions were ridiculous, they only had pictures. It wasn't easy to assemble, and one thing I wasn't used to is the lock in place. It really bugs me. I like my chairs to swivel when I want them to. The foot bar to lift the chair is way, way too short (that's a huge flaw) so you have to really shove your foot clear under the side or rear of the chair if you turned it to let the client step out of the chair for any reason, and if your client has any weight at all to them, your legs better be pretty strong to pump the hydraulics to lift them up . I was also a bit concerned about the little feet on the bottom of the foot step because if those are off the floor it puts a lot of strain on the hydraulics and the foot step.There are a lot of nooks and crannies for hair to get in to, so you need to keep some sort of wisp broom to clean it off after each use but they did include a great sponge for wiping it off which I love. The color is very nice and seems really well made. It also reclines beautifully and comfortably. Everything functions properly the way it should. All in all I do love the chair and so do my clients. I just wish it was easier to swivel and lift.

The chair is incredibly comfortable, especially for larger folx as I am a professional barber and most of my clients are men. I’m tall-ish (6’2”) and it pumps up high enough for even short clients as I have a lot of younger clients under age 16. Initial shipment forgot the pump but it was air shipped to men in less than a week and customer service was incredibly helpful and communicative. For your money it is a great chair, and I’m happy I finally purchased one.

I own a barbershop and ordered 4 of these. One arrived damaged but I contacted the seller and they were awesome and willing to make it right. Overall very satisfied with these chairs. I’m a female barber and only 5’ tall. These are a good height for me. The previous chairs were way too tall and I felt it in my back and shoulders. They swivel all the way and recline nicely for face shaves. Absolutely love the look and comfort of these. The brown color goes perfect with the rustic feel in the shop. Very happy!

So, I actually did receive a brand new bed, good quality leather (black), very nice and professional looking however it was missing the vital support bars (for the back and for the feet). The chair required two bars and it cam with none. Also, directions were confusing because it showed bolts that were needed but they were already attached, so we had to unbolts multiple places and reboot to attach the legs. The item count was also wrong for several pieces. It would say one when two were actually needed. Silly errors that make consumers weary of purchasing. Anyways, I reached out to obtain the missing pieces and they sent me only 1/2 of what I needed and forgot to sent the required “special” bolts to attached the support bars. I even attached several photos when I initially requested the missing pierces and they still could not get their act together. I order the bed in early July and it is now a week away from Sept and they still have not replaced the pieces. My inspection for my new spa was scheduled and I had to reschedule twice because my chair was not usable at the time. I had to use a temporary massage table to clear inspection. Just a hassle to have to deal with.the company new all of this and they still would not send me the parts, asked for pictures and details again and again, which I complied with but now I am truly aggregated. I don’t even want this bed nor to ever deal with this company again. This should have been an easy quick fix. They offered a partial refund and then when I accepted that they decided they only wanted to offer $35. I sending this bed back asap for a FULL refund and taking my money elsewhere. I am also sending a full detailed complaint to Amazon and am tesearxhing whatever else I can do to make sure this company doesn’t try to swindle me out of my money, which I suspect they will try and do. All of this when they could have just apologized and sent me the parts I needed. Truly ridiculous and disappointing.
