I got this for my small at home setup where I cut hair for my family and do color.Right away I felt less fatigue in my feet and calves after standing for long stretches;the cushion feels supportive and the mat doesn’t slide around.The surface is smooth and easy to keep clean,hair sweeps off without sticking, and any color drops wipe off with a damp cloth. The edges stay flat so we’re not tripping, and I’ve stood on it with heels without dents or damage. The only thing I’d add is a quick note on flattening it out after unboxing; I laid it flat for a bit and it settled.If you spend hours on your feet in a salon or run a small home station, it does the job nicely.
