Rugs are such a headache to find and I’m so glad I bought this one. For the price, I honesty have no complaints. The rug came folded up and packaged nicely in a box and was easy to lay out. Looks just as pictured and I was surprised with how soft this thing is. Once laid out, some of the creases from folding were visible, but I walked on them and they flattened right out. It’s on the thinner side, so it is more of an aesthetic piece, but the quality feels solid for being a washable rug. I’d recommend a rug pad or mat underneath if you are looking for added cushion. I haven’t tried washing it in its entirety, but did need to spot clean after a pet incident (the dreaded throw up). The bottom seems to be lined with a waterproof or water resistant material, because I didn’t notice a lot of wetness seeping through and pooling underneath before or after cleaning. Rug arrived on time in a heavy duty box w/rug professionally folded in a reusable bag, not that I could fold it as nice as it came. Immediately laid rug out for it to relax. We have two 100+ pooches that thought it was wrestle time because mom was in the floor, they helped smooth out the rug. We have carpet in the living room and I constantly clean the carpet but feel it has a "dog smell" even though family that comes over says it doesn't. Rug arrived night before Thanksgiving, next day everyone complimented the size & softness of the rug. Now, mother in law wants one, maybe a Christmas gift?? I purchsed the rug to put down at holidays. I wasn't looking for a rug like this, was actually looking to get a new kitchen runner but got aide tracked when this beauty popped up. A selling point for me is I can throw it in the front load washer which I plan to do this weekend. The rug description said waterproof and it is. I sat on the rug to wrap gifts with a tumbler of ice water and I knocked it over. Even though the lid was on a fair amount of water " pooled up" on the rug. A quick wipe with a towel and you couldn't tell it had been wet. Our living room has olive green walls w/dark brown furniture and the colors in the rug blend in perfectly. I recently got the Art &Tuft Washable Rug in 5' x 7' Gold Grey for my living room and I’m really happy with it. The abstract design is modern and adds a nice touch to the space without being too bold. The gold and grey tones go perfectly with my neutral furniture and wood floors. What I really love about this rug is that it’s machine washable. I can just throw it in the washer and it comes out clean without shrinking or losing color. The anti-slip backing keeps it in place even with foot traffic and my pets running around, so I don’t need an extra rug pad. Minor spills wipe up easily, and after a wash it looks fresh and new. It’s soft under my feet and comfortable enough to stand on for short periods. The only things to keep in mind are that it isn’t very thick, so it’s more mid weight than plush. Also, after washing, it takes a little time to lay perfectly flat again, but that’s normal for washable rugs. Overall, this rug is perfect for busy households, families with kids or pets, and anyone who wants an attractive rug that’s easy to care for. I would definitely recommend it. ... show more
