  • Excellent quality, very sturdy, not that hard to put up
Style: 12' x 20' x 7' Base Eggshell
This is really fairly easy to put up if you level the two ground pieces, and square then re: the long metal base brackets then it’s not that hard to to put up The only thing that I would say is the instructions regarding the roof, don’t really explain that you have to have an overhang or maybe I didn’t see it right away but once I saw it …the roof went on so easily They give you the sticky strip for waterproofing comes with plenty of screws to do the job and product has been watertight no leaks Have had it up for quite a few months no leaks yet and great big thunderstorms have come by with some wind constantly this month …no leaks And impressed by the quality and the sturdiness I it does come with anchors … I did put mine on the grass, and did I say I am impressed with the quality I wish I didn’t wait so long to get one I did have someone help me …re: hand me the panels to set them on the roof etc so an extra hand would be very helpful The product came with no missing parts and no damage even though the box was damaged ..,inside the panels and parts they were pristine Oh, …all the parts have numbers on them so you know which ones they’re referring to on the instructions that’s extremely helpful I opened up the boxes, separated, all the parts by number counted to make sure I had everything… and when it was time to put stuff together, made life so much good ... show more

  • Overall very sturdy but even with being extremely careful, it leaks.
Style: 12' x 20' x 7' Base Charcoal
Pros: Very sturdy and even though I didn't get it on any discount, it was relatively inexpensive. Cons: For all the roof panels to line up, the support beams had to be pretty much perfect. Unfortunately, the welded supports along the base were not equidistant when assembled. That meant that at times, it was impossible to line up all the predrilled holes. While assembly was still possible, the lack of quality control was very disappointing. Also, the number of panels making up the roof was a bit surprising but understandable given the needed design to ship and be affordable. Not sure how long it will all last as there was rust on edges of the roof panels out of the box. As careful as I was, when fully assembled, it had leaks. I'm assuming at least partially due to the support beams not lining up correctly due to the welds and/or inconsistent pipe bends. I'll never know as it is up and I'm not about to take it down. I toyed with giving it a three due to the welds not being exact and the rust on the edges of the roof panels but the end product is very sturdy and looks good so I settled on a 4. With higher quality control, it would definitely be a 5. I also bought the side enclosure for it and am very happy I did. ... show more

  • Great Quality. Shipping occurred sooner than expected.
Style: 12' x 24' x 7' Base Charcoal
Using this carport for boat storage. Quality is very good. Perfect for meeting my expectations. Assembly was easy for the most part. I assembled myself. My wife assisted me during erection of frame, leveling, and getting frame square prior to installing the roofing panels. I am very satisfied with results. ... show more

  • 3 sets of dimension, zero instructions
Style: 12' x 20' x 7' Base Charcoal
So the web page states this is 7ft wide. The outside of the box(es) that arrived state 12ft and 12.8ft wide. Open all three boxes, zero instructions for installation. At this point I damn near want my money back, and if I am unable to location directions for installing this beast online, I will demand a full refund. ... show more

  • Great! Heavy duty. Good price.
Style: 12' x 20' x 7' Base Eggshell
We have a summer home in AZ and in the winter, we have to close down for 5 months...We have lots of cold weather & snow. This carport will help keep snow off of our little fishing boat and will keep the hail off of our vehicle when we are here. My husband did most of the installation by himself with me helping to lift the roofing to him. ... show more

  • Quite difficult to put together
Style: 12' x 24' x 7' Base Eggshell
I have had almost the exact same issues as others who have commented. They just dropped the 700+ pounds of boxes off in my driveway. I had to rent a dolly to move each box to the back yard to put it together. Each box probably weights between 200 and 300 lbs. They are really heavy. The instructions are for a 12x20 structure even though I bought a 12x24. So after I got the frame put together based on the instructions I wondered why there were extra pieces. Then I realized the instructions were for the wrong carport and had to take some of the frame back apart and add in the extra pieces. The instructions are pictures only so there are many details you just have to guess about, such is how deep you need to pound the anchors down into the ground. The anchors have been nearly impossible to install. Apparently the ground here is hard or something. My son (he is mid 30s and works out so it quite strong) and I both beat on the rod with a sledge hammer to push the first anchor down close to 2 feet deep and it wore both of us out. That was just 1 anchor. There were 11 more. I borrowed a jackhammer from another guy who welded a piece to allow me to jackhammer the anchors down. That allowed me to get 5 more in about a foot to a foot and a half deep before I broke the bit. I've flattened the top of both rods that you use to pound the anchors down. Then once I do get the anchor down into the ground, I have to grab the rod with a plumbers pipe wrench and pound up on it with a small sledge hammer to get it back out of the ground. I don't know how people do this unless their ground is really soft. Then putting the panels on we got the very top layer done but when I started the second layer, everything didn't line up quite right because apparently we were just a smidgeon off on the top layer. I had to use a ratchet strap to pull the sides together a little bit to get the holes to line up on the tubes unless I wanted to take off the top layer and start all over again. I am still working on it but it's very frustrating to try to get this thing together. I've built huge pergola's and other structures on houses I've had in the past and this is by far harder than any of those. I almost wish I would have just built a pole barn structure instead as I think it would have been easier. ... show more
