Pros: Ease of installation Protection Invisible Durability Longevity Cons: None! This one is a no-brainer. I installed this the week I got my 70D body, which was a little more than a year ago. Does what this compnay says it will do. Provides protection for the rear screen on my Canon 70D and even covers the small LCD display on top of the camera! That's cool. I'm kinda tough on my tools, smart phone and my camera so this product is good for me. It provides a good surface on the back of the camera that allows my 3" touch screen to function as if there was no cover present. It fit perfectly and they give you a small tube of spray to coat the surface before you apply the protector and a rubber squeegy to smooth out the bubbles. That was a nice feature. Some thought went into making their protector and I appreciate that. I recommend this product for sure. ... show more

9/7/2016 After a almost a year of heavy use, this shield turned out to be not bad after all. You just need to re-install it if the film starts lifting. 10/18/2015 update Will give it another chance as I like the idea of being able to re-install the screen. I used other protective screens where it left sticky residue when it was time to remove and replace a new one. I posted pictures, one where bubbles developed just after three weeks of use, and another where I re-installed the protector. Hopefully, the protector will last longer this time. I will revisit my review after a few months or so. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bought this for my Canon EOS 70D. Wanted to give it some time before giving a review on it. After about 1 month use, here's my experience on the screen protector. Pros: 1) Received product from seller ahead of time. 2) Decent fit on the screen. 3) Easy to apply. I was able to put the protector on the LCD perfectly without any problems. 4) Does not hinder use of the screen. Con: After three weeks of use, bubbles started forming in the center. Another week later, separate set of bubbles started forming at the edge. I am meticulous with my gear and keep equipment in top shape all the time. I have been using my camera in a clean environment, so I was surprised to see the protector start peeling too soon. I will see if I can re-apply the screen protector and see how long the second installation last. It's an excellent screen protector, but it only last for a short period of time. I will revisit my review after I re-install it. I can't really recommend this product to anyone at the moment. ... show more

    • Consider giving it up to 4 to 5 days before deciding to reapply
Much easier to apply than screen protectors I've applied which don't use a liquid. After application, there were a bunch of blob-looking areas as well as smudges, but by the following day they were gone. At that point, for the first time I noticed what looked like two particles of dust surrounded by halos, and I obsessed a great deal about whether or not to remove the shield and try reapplying it. The "imperfections" were minimal, and I was concerned that I might have trouble installing it again with that few dust particles. I ended up just leaving it as is, because many of the reviews seemed to say that many imperfections just disappeared after a while. After about four or five days, sure enough, there were no traces of the two marks that I thought were dust, and the shield was basically invisible.     • Provides great protection and a clear screen without a lot of trouble!
I used a competing brand when I bought my Canon 70D. It was fine, but hard to get dust specks or bubbles out. ArmorSuit was easy to put on my 80D and to adjust perfectly. It left no imperfections and produced a nicely clear screen. It seems a little flexible (not a hard surface), but I guess that's necessary for the auto-healing it does to scratches. Touch sensitivity is not affected by this product and the screen closes completely. Those are good things! ... show more

I have protection on my mobile phone because I know I'm rough on it and want it to last at least the length of the contract. So with what I hear about people still using their 40D and how these cameras go the long run, I want to make sure years down the road my camera still has a spanky new looking screen on it! So this looks like it'll do the trick. It still has a great feel to it when applied, and the application process was super easy (albeit a little weird). Much easier than the process used for my phone's. So don't hesitate, get it! ... show more

    • Did not adhere - keep your device perfectly horizontal, or else ...
I had no problem adhering the MilitaryShield to the display on top of the camera, however, there was so much fluid from the "adhering" spray, that the main rear shield kept sliding all over, and completely failed to adhere after NUMEROUS tries. They do NOT advise in the instructions that your camera or device must be completely horizontal to keep that slippery shift from happening, and therefore for a camera, you need to find a place to wedge it in between (maybe some pillows - I dunno) or you must remove the lens from the body completely. Also, it should go without saying, but I did not dare attempt to put them both on at the same time; I allowed the first shield for the top of the camera to completely dry first. Thumbs down. My screen is still not protected and I'm left with a slimy piece of plastic that I don't know what to do with. ... show more

    • Great product, easy to apply
I watched the video before doing this and highly recommend you do. It is applied similar to window tint but is much easier because of the smaller size and no need for heat shrinking. To my surprise, not only is there film for the main LCD, but also for the top right small settings display. Easy to install and I got a perfect bubble-free placement for both film pieces. There is an included microfiber and squeegee card. Before I did the install, I additional used a lint-free Pec-Pad and cleaning solution to clean the LCD and settings display. Touch on the main LCD feels just as responsive. ... show more
