After the first use, I loved it! It was everything I had hoped it would be. The strong magnets he'd to the cart frame and to my iPhone! BUT after several uses, I went over a small bump on the cart path, the mount broke and I phone took a tumble. The next day I contacted Amazon and they sent me a new one and I returned the old one, no problems. The problem is, it happened again!!! The mount broke and my iPhone took a tumble. This time I was in Florida and had just been riding on a wood cart path through a swamp. Good thing I was on dry land when it happened!! Unfortunately, This mount is a great idea but has a design flaw with the skinny "neck" on the pivot that will eventually break and your phone will fall to the ground. ... show more

I use this mount in my car rather than on the golf course. The adhesive metal tabs offer a convenient alternative to mount this phone holder to the dash of your car. Clean the surface near the area the tab will adhere to, attach the tab, and allow it to cure overnight. The mount's grip on your electronic device is strong because there's not much lateral movement on the adjustable tab that holds your device so it's a bit of a struggle to attach the phone (I use an iPhone 12 ProMax) to the mount. It was handy to have. But unfortunately it snapped at the ball. I almost ran over my phone. I am bummed. I'm updating this as the customer service has been very nice and helpful getting back to me. But the metal one it is much better. Very good company.
