style, quality, comfort, affordability... it has all I was looking for style, quality, comfort, affordability... it has all I was looking for

I am so happy with my purchase. As a matter of fact, I loved it so much that I bought it twice, 3 of them in total. These bar stools tick all the boxes for me -- they are stylish, cute, upscale looking and yet surprisingly affordable. First and foremost, the design of these bar stools is impeccable. The walnut wood finish gives them a sophisticated and upscale appearance that instantly elevates the ambiance of my kitchen. The brown polyurethane upholstery adds a touch of elegance, making them a standout piece in my kitchen central island. Assembly was a breeze, and I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was put these stools together. The instructions were clear, and all the necessary hardware was included. Within no time, I had them assembled and ready to use. Despite their lightweight nature, these bar stools are exceptionally well-made and sturdy. The quality of the materials used is evident. The lightweight feature also makes it convenient to move them around when needed. One of the standout features of these bar stools is their comfort. The polyurethane upholstery provides a soft and plush seating experience, allowing me and my guests to sit comfortably for extended periods. The 26" height is a perfect fit ensuring comfortable and ergonomic seating position. Finding bar stools that combine style, affordability, easy assembly, great quality, light weight, and comfort is a rare gem and the Armen Living Barstools have it all. This purchase exceeded my expectations, and I am delighted with every aspect of these stools. ... show more

Great Product & Customer Service

These bar stools are nice looking, comfortable and fit perfect under the countertop. One had a small flaw on the seat and when notified company let me know what I needed to provide to proceed with getting another seat. When I provided information, immediately processed my request by sending replacement seat and provided FedEx tracking number. Very pleased with the barstools and customer service department. ... show more

Good design and solid parts Good design and solid parts

This counter height chair matches our kitchen table chairs and I wanted a swivel seat and fairly small footprint. The low backrest is a nice element too. So I ordered 2. It was easy to assemble. I used the supplied allen wrench on the first one and it wasn't too bad. I used a wratchet driver (see photo) for the 2nd one and finished in about 1/4 the time. I needed slight leveling adjustments on the feet and this chair is designed to do that easily with the supplied parts. My only complaint is the padding on the seat is not supportive foam. It's better than sitting directly on wood. But this is a nice chair otherwise and decent memory foam would get it 5/5 stars. ... show more

Very sturdy and comfortable
Color: Brown and Walnut Wood Size: 26" Seat Height Number of Items: 1
This was our first ever furniture purchase from Amazon, so we were very nervous about the quality of the product. What we received was very much past our expectations for the sale price. A couple of notes if you are considering these chairs. First, make sure to follow the directions when you put them together, they do not come assembled. It is pretty easy to put together though. Second is that the wood is a littler darker then it looks online, so make sure that it will blend in with your design style. Overall the sturdiness, the finish, the fact that the seat rotates makes them a great choice for us. The only thing I would change is that the feet would be a much wider foot and not the pointed plastic tips that are included. ... show more

Beautiful Mid-Century Modern (MCM) vibe Beautiful Mid-Century Modern (MCM) vibe

Gorgeous chairs with a mid century modern (mcm) style. My home is 80% real mcm collected over the years. I couldn’t find the real deal in barstools so I spent a lot of time finding ones that would fit it, but didn’t look cheap. I actually bought some from another company and had to return because they were so cheaply made that the screw went right through to the pad. So, I ordered these with kind of low expectations. But wow - look how great they look! I’m so happy with these barstools. I put them together myself. I’m 63, with severe rheumatoid arthritis and also 96 pounds, so not a whole lot of manual or physical strength, and had no problem getting 2 of them put together in maybe 15 mins each. One gave me quite a bit of trouble where the ring attaches at the bottom though - so much so I almost returned that one. Instead I just soldiered on and used a hammer to get that one screw in. The joke is that only a light weighted person should use that one! Kidding aside, I think these look really good. I ended up with the dark gray seat mainly because only that one and the black one were available in 2 days, but now that I see it, it’s the perfect masculine touch to my house which tends to lean more feminine in style. But not as harsh as the black seat would be. One thing that really bothers me is that I needed 3 of them, and if you selected the option to get 3, you saved about $20 per chair. The problem is, you couldn’t get the 2-day delivery. So I was forced to get the option with 1 chair, then had to pick 3 as my amount, so I paid full price on each one. I didn’t think that was right. Either you have the chairs in stock or not. Anyways, that’s just a warning for anyone who needs a few, but quickly. I hope this review was helpful! I wanted to especially reach out to people who loved the MCM aesthetic, and wondered how these would look. I am SO happy with how they turned out. I just wished I had ordered them sooner so I wasn’t in a time crunch to get on 2 days. Left thing - how could I NOT love chairs with the same name as mine (albeit different spelling). They were meant to be 🙂 ... show more

Don't order sets
Color: Black Fabric/Oak Size: 26" Seat Height Number of Items: 4
The chair is great. DO NOT ORDER THEM AS SETS - Amazon will only ship you a single chair when you order the 'set of 4' I had to spend hours chatting with support to get this resolved and ended up having to place separate orders for individual chairs.

These bar stools are absolutely beautiful. The went together fairly easily and are very sturdy. I love how they fit under my counter and I am still able to swivel without hitting it. Just the mid-century modern feel I was going for. The seat color is a very, very dark brown almost black which is what I wanted. Seats padding is a little stiff, but overall comfortable enough. The really nice thing is the customer service. One of the legs had a bubble in the finish. I reached out to the manufacturer and they promptly sent me a replacement. ... show more

Height is 25", not 26"
Color: Gray Faux Leather/Walnut Size: 26" Seat Height Number of Items: 1
I really wish it had been 26" but alas it is only 25". I have to make a choice between a 30" and a 26" because what I really need is a 28". 28" would be perfect and this is now 3" short of that. Nevertheless, it looks to be of good quality, the screws worked fine. The ring seems strong, the swivel works. Good value for money. ... show more
