I reviewed a lot of curtains and it took me forever. And, the reviews are what helped me decide to choses these. I am so glad I chose these! Oatmeal is a great color. My walls have a little bit of a yellow hint to them and I didn't want any yellow color in the curtains I purchased. These have no yellow tint they are a true oatmeal which is exactly what I was looking for. However at the hottest part of the day when the sun is beating the strongest into my south facing windows the color of the curtains becomes a greyish/ Taupe. And, that darker color does look nice against my walls too. Most of the time they are very soft oatmeal color that I love. The best part is these curtains have made a huge temperature difference in my room. 1. They block out all of the Sun and thats makes my room at least five degrees cooler than before them. 2. Also, they have two different size openings for a thicker or thinner curtain rod. Plus they send rings to use too. Great find! Very happy with my purchase. I love these! I’ve had them for about 4 months now and the wrinkles have smoothed out. I got 2 packs of the oatmeal color so I have 4 panels up. They are nice and thick and they do very good at blocking out the sun! Very happy with this purchase and about to order again for my living room!

I gave these a 4 instead of a 5 due to how stiff they are. They do not puddle like the stock images show and they are very wrinkly. They feel plastic-y due to the blackout lining. I think if they had an option to not have the blackout it would be better for most people, or at least me. Washing to soften isn’t an option as reviews have said the stitching comes out and/or the blackout lining tears. They are heavy duty, they do keep light out if that’s what you need, and they are very pretty. I just am wishing that they had been that thick but flowy option the stock images portray. We had them hooked and hung before I was really realizing how stiff they are, plus I was tired of looking for cost effective drapes that were the right length so they get to stay and I’m hoping over time they do soft a bit and the wrinkles fall out. Instructions say you can iron them but I’m nervous to do that or steam as like I stated, they feel a bit plastic-y/rubbery. ... show more

Product tag says do not tumble dry! I hung them without removing the wrinkles and sprayed them with Downy wrinkle release and it did the trick! Good, thick quality. True to size. I will be ordering more for the other rooms. True blackout curtains!
