This is my first order of this tartar control water additive. My dog doesn't seem to mind it but the water is gross to look at. It's like it doesn't completely mix in once it's in the bowl. I've read other reviews that say the same thing. I'm going to keep looking around in case others are less this way but his breath is better and his teeth are staying clean since his dental cleaning. If you use the proportions they say, I would probably have to go through one of these every two weeks with as much water as my dog drinks as a 90 lb lab. So I'm not sure I'm going to keep doing it at full strength because I'd Go through so much of it in a month The photo I posted in my review is with a clean bowl freshly washed but with water mixed according to instructions. Dog bowls can get somewhat gross anyway but this just seems a little over the top but not a complete deal killer...yet

I have two older dogs, and one developed terrible breath out of nowhere. He hasn't ever had a dental cleaning (vets said he didn't need one), but since he's 17, I wondered if his breath was due to plaque/his teeth. The other dog has thyroid issues, which ruled out some of the other dental water additives, so I tried Arm & Hammer b/c I love their toothpaste. Anyway, this stuff has been great and solved the breath issue within 24 hours. Dogs don't seem to notice it is there at all, and I've never noticed a scent to it. FYI - I saw on some reviews that people complained that it foamed...easy answer is to fill the bowl with water first, then add the Arm & Hammer additive. if you add it first and then fill with water, you get bubbles.

I’ll take a little diarrhea problem versus how bad my dog’s teeth began to get and now I can say they look 75% better when I say they were bad is an understatement I’ll post pictures when I write another review in the future I would definitely recommend this to my friends thank you for this wonderful product

We were going away for a week, and I was worried about my dogs teeth. Recently I discovered that one of my dogs tooth had some build up, and I wanted to take care of it, brushing better. I bought this product to use while we were away. I'm happy to say that this product worked great and my dogs teeth had improved over the week. When it comes to taste, it's flavorless so my dog has no issues drinking it. I read some had issue with dogs stomach and bowel movements, but no issues for my dog. The water might foam a little bit, if you add it before you fill it with water. Great product that will help you take care of your dogs teeth.
