Portable and easy to setup
I recently purchased this portable AC unit, and overall, I'm very impressed with its performance. Setting it up was a breeze—everything I needed was included right in the box, from the AC unit itself to the complete window kit. The instructions were clear and straightforward, making the installation process quick and easy. Once set up, the unit started cooling my room almost immediately. It's incredibly efficient at lowering the temperature, and I noticed a significant difference within minutes. Even on particularly hot days, it keeps the room wonderfully cool and comfortable. One thing to note is that the unit is a bit heavy. However, it comes with sturdy wheels, which makes moving it from room to room much easier than I anticipated. Despite its weight, I was able to relocate it without too much hassle. The only minor downside is that it's a tad noisy. It's not excessively loud, but there's a noticeable hum when it's running. For me, this isn't a deal-breaker, especially considering how well it cools the room. But it's something to keep in mind if you're sensitive to noise. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this portable AC unit. Its ease of setup, cooling efficiency, and mobility thanks to the wheels make it a great addition to any home. If you're looking for an effective way to beat the heat, this unit is definitely worth considering.

Great
Purchased it for a guest room, pretty satisfied with the quality and performance so far. It was easy to install to the window horizontally. Easy to be remotely controlled. Cooling down the space pretty fast and doesn't make much noise. Overall,it has been a great value for this summer.

Perfect for our small room
Got this for this year summer, we don't want to turn on the central AC cause other rooms are empty. We got this portable just for our room. Easy to set up, it has a little noise, we love the noise cause it will cover some other noises so we won't wake up during the night. So far this thing runs pretty good no complain. Hope it will run for a few years.

It’s difficult to keep the exhaust tubing in place .It needs longer tubing. Bad connector
Dislike exhaust rubing, too short, connector isn’t engineered properly, the tubing keeps falling out .

Continous drain requirements
Unit cools well enough. Unit is quite loud. Upon shutting down unit, the Fan sounds like it's hitting something. Also, unit must be on Continuous Drain, unless yu want water on your floor! Please note that a downward angle on the drain line seems necessary as well. Look at my photo attached. Thankyou

After 17 years of use, one of my two 5000 BTU window units went bad, this is better replacement.
I really liked that this comes with a nice adapter for windows. I have central air, but since heat rises, floor vents are not as good for cooling, so at night I often turn on some backup window units in two of my bedrooms. The compact size and ease on install make this an easy-to-use replacement that required little to adapt it. I had two dedicated outlets for my window units put in when I bought the house in 2005. This is quieter to use than the previous unit, has better remote control, much more cooling power, and best of all the dang birds can't build a nest on it in the early Spring like they do my window units. After having some of my yard workers help remove the window unit and take to the dump, I installed this myself in about an hour, most of the work was just unpacking the unit. It's more for conventional windows that open exotic types may require some modification, but standard windows that adapt to window AC units are easy, it's made for them. Quiet enough at night and you don't need as much power you can sleep peacefully. The cooling air can be directed upward so it will fall from the top as a gentle cooling breeze down to the floor. This cools the room better than most floor vents from central AC. A good replacement, it does take up some floor space, but is not too bad. Recommended.

Life-saver with this heat wave!
With the heat waves we have been experiencing in the south, our central ac couldn't keep up. Our living room, hallway, and foyer is two stories of open space that are terrible to heat or cool. My husband has medical issues and heat makes them worse so he wanted to upgrade to a larger central unit at a cost of tens of thousands of dollars. Instead I reccomended that we try a portable ac to supplement our main central ac units. Within hours our living room was feeling pleasant ans livable. Our Alaskan Malamute lays right in front of this unit to stay cool. It was super easy to set up and came with everything we needed. This is truly a life saver!
