I’ll use this as a trailer tongue box. Overall this is a nice box for the price point. It will work well for me because of the size and light weight Some of the other reviews about poor quality seem exaggerated. The latch is adjustable and works fine and the lid fits well as either of my UWS truck boxes. It’s definitely not a “strongbox” or a safe, but the lock seems as good as any truck tool box I’ve seen. It will keep honest people away from your tools. It came vary well packed with cardboard and steel corner protectors. It did get a small ding in handling, but the shipping box was gouged as well. Nothing I can’t live with. Since I’m mounting to a trailer, I won’t use the handles. They are pop-riveted and could use washers to back up the rivet. it has nice welds and finish and will work well only aluminum trailer. ... show more

A lot of trailer manufacturers are putting the jack further back on the tongue to keep from interfering with the tailgate. This box fit perfectly between the jack and the bed frame. Added two pieces of angle iron for it to sit on. I installed it with the lock facing the rear to keep it centered but that isn't a problem. Perfect to hold tie down straps. ... show more

Bought this box a couple years ago and really liked it so ordered again. Now the sheet metal and hardware are considerably lighter gauge and not as robust for the same price! I still like the aluminum which will not rust but was sure disappointed that Arksen chose to cheapen the quality of this product. ... show more

I just received my Arksen 30x13x10 tool box, and am very happy with it. I just needed a box for the back of my truck, to lock different things up occasionally, mostly when traveling, and it fits the bill perfectly. It is of good quality and the thickness of the aluminum is as advertised. It was packed very well with hard cardboard AND metal covers over each corner. It was shipped quickly, and even though I live in the sticks and it had to travel quite a ways, it arrived unharmed. The keys were zip-tied to one of the exterior handles, so they couldn't get locked inside, and they seem to work just fine. I am sure I will remain very happy with this box, especially for the price!
