Works well if you don’t have a lamp nearby and just need a light for a few minutes. The charge doesn’t last long enough to use for awhile. And even with using the sticky tape and small nails it is still a bit loose. But it is functional for what I need it to do.

These spotlights lasted for about 13-14 hours (on FULL brightness)!! I was super impressed. I've tried a whole bunch of rechargeable led lights and generally they last for around 4 hours. These use 3 AA batteries per light and I used just regular amazon basics rechargeable batteries, so nothing special to get these to last so long! I liked them so much that I bought another pack of them right after, and now all 4 lights work off one remote (with no special programming or pairing involved, it just worked right out of the box). I love that I can turn them on at night and then just press one other button on the remote to have them turn off themselves after 1 hour, so I won't forget about it. There is a very wide range of light from dim to bright (see my attached photo comparison) and the batteries should last even longer if you're not using them at full power every time. I expect to have to recharge these about once every 2 weeks, which is very reasonable. They are very easy to take down to recharge as they simply twist on and off the base that you attach to the ceiling. The look of them is very simple and modern and I'm pleased with the aesthetic of them. Overall I'm really happy with these lights and would definitely recommend them! ... show more

I put brand new batteries in these and after a week I noticed one wasn't lit up anymore went to change the batteries and one battery had exploded inside, they were brand new Duracell batteries. I put another new one in and still wouldn't work. Ended up sending them back defective.
